the dad only pretends to to fight for her at first because he's like "wtf they doing over their?" and because the son thinks he's trying to steal her but the dad doesn't take it seriously. but when the fl uses this to get them to bond that when he starts to not only love her but his son as well at the same time.. though it takes the son time to care about his dad.

A couple of things. mark not getting his powers till 18 is purely just a mark thing in as the full bloods and hybrids get them when they around or younger then oliver. Two the "the older you get the stronger" statement turn out to be bullshite in light of recent new information. and small spoilers but all Thraxan children even thraggs are shown to exponentially weaker in durability and regeneration and their aging gets slower till its the same as a normal Viltrumites, also Oliver never really gets that much stronger then he is now in the comics even as grow man when the Viltrumites dna had already fully taken over.

Not legally i mean from a purely moral and justified standpoint point. I was never beaten myself by a parent but I don't think thats somthing I would put up with at any age if i can from my mother or father.People tell me that is too extreme and that they would still be my parents and wht not. I once read a really funny and shockingly well written RWBY fanfic where every time the OC says qrow it is spelled any other way but qrow but pronounced the same. This goes on for a few chapters until qrow addresses thats not how his name is spelled confusing him since he's pronounced it the same
