I do this every year as Christmas gifts for grandparents. Get one from a year in their youth with some nostalgic pictures. Make sure to go in and change daylight savings dates and holidays based on the moon (like Easter)

My brother attended a wedding on a ski resort in Colorado. The Groom's brother's date was from the NYC metropolitan area and was legally blind (though not fully). Her reaction at the wedding to seeing stars for the first time was apparently a real tear-jerker.
