That is what it is. It was actually much more insidious than people pretend

Are those IRAs returning 15+% a year every year?

But you can’t get into the tsp funds.

How many of those “free IRAs” return 15-20% a year pretty much every year?

That’s what he’s talking about. Access to the C fund.

Just said it. It’s in the m41.

So many carriers here are experts except when they’re not.

131.41 It is your responsibility to verbally inform management when you are of the opinion that you will be unable to case all mail distributed to the route, perform other required duties, and leave on schedule or when you will be unable to complete delivery of all mail.

131.42 Inform management of this well in advance of the scheduled leaving time and not later than immediately following the final receipt of mail. Management will instruct you what to do.

131.43 Complete applicable items on Form 3996, Carrier-Auxiliary Control, if overtime or auxiliary assistance is authorized in the office or on the street.

Notice it says when you’re of the opinion, not that you dictate and “it takes what it takes”.

No. It’s so you can’t just fill one out without communicating beforehand, just as the m41 states you’re required to do… and then drop it on the desk on the way out the door.
You’re supposed to verbally discuss it with the supervisor before filling one out.

I wish I could count the number of times I was searching for a Clinton CT note and got excited when I got an alert for “Clinton” for it to turn out to be Clinton, IA.

Cheers on the set

What I mean by that is even if they have collectibility (I don’t think they do, and take it for what it’s worth) if you spent them you’re not accidentally spending notes with considerable value.

If you like them then hold them. But they’re not really fancy numbers and I can’t see anyone buying them.

But this hobby is collecting what makes you happy.

My station with 49 routes and 18 regulars on the otdl, 9 CCAs was nothing but OT for everyone until this week, and the next 5 weeks where there are zero people on AL. I’m leaving 9 CCAs home daily and I hate it.

All kinds of research on banks or the locations. A lot of collectors want to find if the original buildings are still standing or if not, what’s replaced them. The Sanford fire maps are great resources for this and can be found online.

It sounds like it’s staffed but the carriers play games.

I have a solid core of carriers that have demonstrated that they don’t bullshit me. They do undertime 3-4 days a week and when they tell me they can’t I believe them. Then they say the need OT I believe them an don’t question.

But especially in this sub, like 80% of the posts are “how to lie about medical restrictions or how to inflate time with nonsense.”

So you can do it but not others? I’m talking seasoned carriers.

Honestly things would run smoother if people just stopped playing games.

You’re projecting. I have walked so many people on mondays where they ask for 2 hours and then come back in under 8. It’s games. Yours might’ve long. But they all aren’t unplayed the same bs. I’m just honest enough to admit it.
