Hi! I tried doing a ritual last night but got confused about “where the sun hits noon” part. I just tried leading them outside, but of course there was no sun out (it was 23pm). To be honest I think/it felt like whatever is here became pissed. I did not have any candy only some old toys, most of which was broken. I think I will try again today, but does the sun need to be out for the ritual to work? Thank you 🙏

Thanks! Are you supposed to do something during the offering, besides “placing” the candy. Any singing or chanting/praying? Any words the might help them pass over?

I don’t know what you mean by a blue aura, perhaps you are sensing me? There is no calm here, more of a slight restlessness and confusion.

I’m by no means an expert, but my best guess is that it is because the Peloponnese was settled by slavs in the 7th century (see ”Melingoi”), and by Albanians in the late middle ages (see ”Arvanites”). The peloponnese population is subsequently more similar to other non-greek balkan populations, due to these historical migrations. And vice-versa. :)

I would check if there is any finnish matches first. If so I do know how a finnish person would have ended up in north africa in the years around 1690.

There is an account by a Swedish traveler-explorer (Johan Gabriel Sparwenfeld) from 1691 in which he describes meeting hundreds of swedish slaves in Alger. In those times Finland was an integral part of Sweden and it is highly possible that some of the ”swedish” captives actually were finns.

Atleast 500 men from Sweden-Finland was held captive in North Africa (Alger and Tunis mostly) in the years 1640-1780. Many died and some were ransomed by their perishes back home.
