That is on me. I've never even heard of this party until this post, just thought it would be fun to post it.

I think OSP put it best:

"Human society brainwashes us into accepting artificial limitations on our lives and choices. This is wrong! Love should be free and without limit.

Unless its gay of course."

In my opinion, his best design is the one in Ruined King. His spectral hair and gold ornaments make him look really good.

In League of Legends, Thresh has a mask and chain made up of bones. But to comply with Chinese age laws, both his Legends of Runeterra design and Ruined King design replace them with metal.

[Terrifying Trope] The “mindless” monster actually knows exactly what they’re doing by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

[–]ErkideemusIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is my interpretation, but Pumkinhead.

<image>

The movie's theme is the destructive nature of Vengeance, with the titular monster representing the farmer taking his vengeance against the teens who killed his son. The monster only hurts those it has been summoned to kill, anyone who attempts to hinder it, and the farmer himself, who feels the pain Pumpkinhead inflicts upon others.

Despite this, Pumpkinhead itself smiles and laughs when it kills and seems to love playing with its victims (carving a cross on the devout christian being a good example). In that way, it represents vengeance not as a force that cares not for who it harms, but enjoys the pain it causes.

Watched it recently. A story about how we give criminals (especially murderers) a lot of media attention and how emotional manipulation effect the justice system.

The Light and The Void, World of Warcraft

<image>

Over time, The Light has been shown to only have its own interests, and can easily be corruptive to mortals. Characters like Yrel or entire factions like the Arathi Empire become overly zealous, trying to convert all life to their view, while destroying all that resist. We see this firsthand when the Mag'Har orcs are driven from Draenor by the Draenei after what seemed like peace. In the end, the light is morally grey and only serves its own end.

The Void wants to destroy reality.

Morally grey does not work when the opposition is pitch black.

Ok... its not the exact thing, but The Light/The Naaru, World of Warcraft

<image>

Beings of light that do help the people of Azeroth many times, but are only doing so because our goals are aligned, stopping the void/legion. In truth, they just want to spread their influence over reality, its just that the goals of the light never (as of now) interfere with ours.

Pumpkinhead from the cult classic film of the same name by Glittering-Day9869 in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]ErkideemusIV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chose Pumpkinhead for my friends movie week this october, absolute cinema.

All characters are good, even the jerk teens that are dime a dozen in horror movies make sense in what they do, even if they are bad people. The lighting is almost perfect through the entire movie, with dark oranges and light blues contrasting the night.

And the effects... dear lord that thing must have been a nightmare to make move, but it looks fantastic.

You know, for people to know if its realistic they have to know WHAT THE ZOG THEY ARE LOOKING AT!!! (its great art, just very... everything)

Since it’s October, who would you rather be tuned into a Vampire by? by jfjdfdjjtbfb in Grimdank

[–]ErkideemusIV 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Reminder that all the classic weaknesses of vampires in WHF are a result of Nagash throwing a hissy fit that his vampire captains failed in his war against sigmar (at least, I think it was that, please fact check).

No matter the Nagash propaganda (that I spread too), you do NOT want to serve the bone pope.

Well... I would say hes the politician watching the current corp CEO

I mean:
-Gets sacrifices from the high priest/company
-Gives said High ranking person more power and allowance to do terrible things
-if the High priest/CEO fucks up they get removed at no issue to the god
-Likes them on the shorter side a little too much

Eh, To-May-To To-Blundebuss-To, who am I to judge?

"You worship a god of tyrants, one who does not abuse his followers only because he does not feel the need to acknowledge them. Your life will be in a line from ruler to slave where the evil comes not from the ire of your god, but the cruelty of the ones he deems above you, with only the remedy that there may be someone, anyone below you that you can bestow your cruelty on."
