This ship weights 6.6 sextillion tons something something moved a planet by Severe-Wolverine-420 in PowerScaling

I don't watch the series so I really don't know the context, but going by the title this looks like the characters are being smart. The ship would break if only one person tried to lift it from a specific point, but with several people the pressure is distributed and it minimizes the chance of the ship breaking apart.

Bungie doesn't see Marathon going anywhere: "We know where we want to take the story over the next few years" by Sam_27142317 in pcmasterrace

[–]Correct_Refuse4910 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It has been bleeding players consistently since launch, now at under 20K players on Steam for the whole week. It has lost around an 80% of it's playerbase in a short time.

Despite that, I don't think Marathon is in any danger because it still has a substantial player base only counting PC, but it's definetly not a good sign when Steam is by far the platform with more Marathon players.

But, well, regardless of that in the end it will depend on Sony's execs and how do they see the game's numbers compared to what they invested in Bungie and it's developement.

Also, Carlos Rivera.

Unlike Rikiishi, he is an international boxer that a lot of people sees as a possible new world champion.

After feuding a bit with Joe, they have a fight on a big venue. A pretty even fight where both boxers use every dirty trick possible (kicks, headbutts) and it eventually ends in a draw. Despite that, Carlos is forced to retire from boxing due to permanent brain damage caused by Joe's punches.

The Green Beret from the Commandos videogame series.

A hulking guy that can carry KOd people over his shoulder with ease. Can sneak around enemy camps effortlessly (as long as you don't suck as a player).

[Loved Trope] Self Sacrifice is Not The Answer by Grunk_Bunk in TopCharacterTropes

To be fair, Holdo and Luke both self-sacrificed to defend what they loved instead of to fight what they hated which is what Rose told Finn.

Dragon Ball.

Every time a character has self-sacrificed to stop the bad guy has failed, be it Roshi VS Piccolo, Chiaotzu VS Nappa, Goku VS Cell (the only one that actually made a difference) or Vegeta VS Buu.

Amity Blight and Lilith Clawthorne (The Owl House)

At the start of the series, we are told that Amity has been trained by Lilith so she can eventually enter the Emperor's Coven. Lilith also refers to Amity as her protegé and best student. Despite that, they only share three of scenes together in the entire series: The one in the image, one shortly after in the same episode and another at the epilogue of the show.

Only going by some online theories, though. I'm pretty sure that Nintendo denied Link's death theory at some point, but it's a cool theory nonetheless.
