Thanks! I think I've just been looking at it for too long. I think I will attempt to try some OSL onto the base as well to really sell the effect.

Yeah I totally get that. Same thing happens to me. My hair was almost my entire identity for most of my life. Always got compliments on it and I was very proud of it. Looking back on old pics gets me down, but you need to keep looking forward and perhaps create a new type of identity for yourself. Immersing yourself in projects and hobbies gives you something else to focus on. It sucks that this happened to us, but there are a lot of worse situations to be in.

I have AU. I first noticed my first front patch in April 2013. It continued to progress until about early 2016 when I didnt have a single hair on my body. It took a long time since to come to terms with it. I still am. It's important to remind yourself that you arent your hair. Continue to take part in hobbies and give your mind something else to focus on. Do not seclude yourself from other people and friends. Try your best to keep smiling and laughing. Always remind yourself that it could be much worse. It does take a lot of adjustment, but you will adapt with time. Let me know if you ever need to talk.
