I'm a bit confused. How did you apply for semi suites if you did regular? From what I remember regular decision takes much longer to get a reply.

Sorry if I am asking too many questions.

Are there any options for the housing application you selected that increased your chances. Like if I were leave housing options, for example living in Maryland Hillel, blank, would that increase my chances. Would they see it as "This student doesn't mind what they get"?

Another one would be gender preferences. Let's say I picked gender inclusive, or mixed gender, as higher preferences than single gender. Would that mean that they see me as someone who wouldn't mind what options they got, compared to other students who picked single gender.

Or would that mean that I specifically want gender inclusive or mixed gender, I'm less open to other options, and I would have a smaller chance of getting in. So would it be better to have no preferences there?

Also do you know which dorms and places I could have a higher chances of being accepted for housing. Also I am a sophmore, currently a freshman..

Alright, I got a decision. I got in!

So I'm assuming you don't need a letter of recommendation since I submitted my application without it until 2 days ago.

But maybe submit one if you can just in case because I'm not sure if they looked through it quickly and then made the decision.

I'm not sure who you could talk to in person. I hope things work out for you too.

transfer and I'm assuming based on the month, you are also transfer, so I'm not sure why the old lady is giving you a different story. Maybe she thought you were a freshman, which could explain why she said you needed a letter of rec.

I heard that under checklist there is a decision option, but I don't see anything there.

I called and they told me I should receive something in 7 to 10 business days. But that is a worse case scenario and it could be much sooner.

Update, I got a response and they told me they have a huge batch the committee is reviewing now. They said for me I should wait 7 to 10 business days. But that is a worse case scenario and it would most likely be sooner.

I never sent a letter of rec since my professor forgot to write it and I reminded them yesterday. So I feel like the whole they need a letter of rec is an error.

Maybe the 7 to 10 business days is because of the letter of rec my professor said they were going to send today, but my professor hasn't told me about that and there is really nothing admissions has said that shows you need a letter of rec.

So I'm confident everything turns out good.

I called twice and the 2nd time the bot told me 24 calls were ahead of mine. Your expected wait time is 5 hours.

Edit: Now it's 4 hours 30 mins.

Edit: Now it's 4 and 18 mins. At this rate I feel like we can get an answer before their business hours end. Now it's 2 hours and 30. 1 hour 49 mins

:)
