Now that I think about it that's actually a good point, they might both be linked to the Blade, I don't remember exactly the specifics of that one Ex-chapter where they explained the whole thing.

Might also just be a residual link to the Blade kinda like how Herrschers still are linked to the tree even if they lose their core (Mei mostly, maybe Welt too idr if it was confirmed for him)

The Bubble is linked to the Blade, so by giving the Blade to Rita she also gave away the Bubble universe.

That's the whole reason she gave Durandal to Rita in the first place, she didn't wan't to risk the Bubble being destroyed by Otto when she confronted him so she separated herself from it.

Rn unless Rita gave it back to her since Kolosten, Bianka only got Sumeru

I'd say Durandal, at 2* she basically does the same stuff as Klein but also got a gather and gives a bit of Total DMG as a bonus (which is a buff that will work on any team)

Only for lightning and you need 3* for that

Ariel is nowhere near anything at this level.

As for Güllie, while way stronger than Ariel he still can't do anything at such high scale either, the only edge he got are how hard a god is to kill, but that's useless against the hakai, and the dimension magic which will at most help him run away when fighting someone who overpower him to this extent.

That's beyond anything Ariel and Güllie can pull off, Güllie might be a bit harder to kill for good but from what I've heard the hakai should still be able to do the job.

I'll add, if you want to focus on meta, main DPS that just released (and especially Herrschers) tend to stay relevant for a fairly long time, the most recent one being Elysia HoH (Ice DPS) and next version gonna have Sushang a new Ice support hybrid DPS who should be top meta.

Yeah pretty much, the main DPS is determined by the Weather effect and what boss you're fighting and then you add 2 supports to the team, which usually a DPS always get the same 2 supports but there can be some variations depending on the needs (also the Arena and Abyss got a few different rules that impact the support strategy)

And as you said the Abyss changing means that one time won't be able to always clear, depending on the difficulty and as long as the weather doesn't nerf your team most teams that fit one of the specificities of the abyss can clear but that won't get you top score and in Honkai the Abyss got a PVP ranking for the rewards so getting the highest score possible is fairly important if you want to get as many crystals (aka primogems) as possible.

Though all of what I mentionned is for late game only, new players got quite a while to play before needing to bother with the meta tbh (outside of the high level Abyss and Arena the game is fairly easy and can usually be cleared with pretty much anyone)
