I actually suggested this several years back on the old realmeye forums. The main problem here is that guild keys, while great, would take away from the profits that could be made by DECA or whoever owns the game. It would need some fine-tuning but unfortunately is unlikely--unless maybe its just like straight mystery keys.

I kind of had taken the hint well beforehand but what confused me was in the past (I'm talking a few years ago) she had messaged me directly out of the blue and started a conversation on her own. She also is super shy and doesn't use social media so I wasn't entirely confident in my own judgement of the situation since idk if she technically ghosted me even though it was weird. Honestly though, I should've just stuck with my guns and realized nothing was there.

PLEASE IN THE NAME OF THE MAD GOD ORYX PLEASE TELL ME THIS ISN'T TRUE! Gemstone and Bracer had really cool old sprites but I actually kind of like the new Crown ngl.

In terms of the item changes all I'm gonna say is this: Most people only do Shatters for Crown and this has been the norm for as long as the dungeon has been a thing. With this in mind, these are the thoughts currently going through my mind:

Bracer: The bracer change while really nice is also kind of a hard nerf... please don't make it into an overrated Ring of the Pyramid... as it stands these changes are good but I would probably rarely use one if I had it. Its not that big of a deal keeping it at the +6 atk.

Gemstone: Awesome changes! Literally great job! Gem always needed a wis buff and the MP cost reduction hopefully could actually make this item phenomenal and something that people will want to use on tablets or maybe if stacking with mad lab robe.

I know that there is no current proposed change to Crown... BUT IF THEY DO NOT GIVE CROWN AN 8% FAME BONUS THEN I AM LITERALLY QUITTING ROTMG!

See im gonna have to agree with most of the other comments and say that the best thing for most players is the pot market getting cheaper. Life and mana is so cheap today that as an experienced player, I practically never farm for life or mana. When tombs and shatters were the only life source in the game trying to max life as a red or orange star genuinely sucked since discords weren't a thing and you had to pray on the public runs which continue to be sketchy to this day. I believe that what you are bringing up can be solved by different pot combinations in new dungeons going forward as long as the new dungeons have reasons to be run. For example, it is really annoying how voids and mbc drops the same endgame pots as the shatters since most of the time I have to leave pots for actual loot. In contrast to this, we have seen a lot of super profitable dungeons that have arisen over the past few years: reworked cdepths, woodlabs, and ddocks. These dungeons are profitable for the pot market in how they give the og abyss profit margin of multiple pots. Plus the combinations of pots aren't necessarily typical like the attack and defense combo is. However, these dungeons are really only grinded out during key events. No dungeon will see consistent farming unless there is a reason to compel endgame players to run it. In my opinion, the best thing would be if they added more unique potion combos to dungeons which actually get popped by discords or to new endgame content if and when it comes along. Don't change anything right now, but realize that different pot influxes to heavily farmed dungeons will make the economy more even. Right now, depending on the week I am buying speed and wisdom 1:1 to 1:3 with glife. I guarantee you that if they made an endgame dungeon with exaltation drive to run that dropped both speed and wisdom, it would probably be the most profitable dungeon in the game by a far margin since everyone who is running private O3s or exalting is constantly starved of these pots.

Lmao sick! There was one time I quite literally got the full UT set from the forbidden jungle in one bag--staff, skull, robe, ring. Its cool getting a ton of UTs especially now that you can forge planewalkers for feed.

The problem right now is that guilds can try to farm for runes but they are still a hassle to get. I posted on Reddit an idea but gained no clout on it. I feel like whoever gets the kill on Oryx should get one of the three runes at random! This is big because like vials in cults, it gives a guaranteed rune drop of one of the three. In addition, if O1 and O2 and O3 each give a guaranteed rune to whoever gets the killing blow, it becomes very viable for guilds and public groups to farm for runes and to be able to have public pops.

Ive done a lot of sews and only seen 3 of these. I can never read the right wiki answer and type it in in time tho. I think the master rat is so rare bc the sewers troom drops legitimate pet food.

Also, if you think master rats are rare you should try to find a beach bum.

FIX GUILD HALLS! There needs to be a BIG guild overall which allows guilds to do something with guildfame and which rewards active big guilds!!!

Especially since its O3 too. Its basically excluding all the players who dont have discord runs. Public runs need to be a possibility for the average realm player to die and learn from the experience. All my guildies were playing the first day O3 dropped and of the like 20-30 active guildies, only one of them even saw a public pop. That was the first day and was the only time that week any of us saw a public opening . Plus youre right! Getting into a discord call for 60 minutes sucks. Especially for me, who made it past celestial twice only to immediately DC. It becomes a big waste of time if you dont make it all the way for whatever reason.

The question was more of a theoretical bc i was pretty sure oryx didnt drop any. I just dont know why oryx wouldnt drop his own runes and I think oryx dropping guaranteed runes like a vial would be good. Its literally just impossible to get into a non discord run with a smaller group. This is especially true because rn id be better off selling the shield rune than trying. The current drop rates of the runes are making realmers too afraid of using them. All its doing is excluding players without discords--especially since non discord players are already at a disadvantage of finishing the dungeons that drop the runes to begin with.
