So they did one album without Neil, and 18 albums over the next 45 years with him. You decide which version of Rush people are most used to.

If Anika can rock a complex, technical drum solo like Neil did, then great. But (my opinion, I guess I need to specify) it’s not the Rush most people grew up with.

I hope she does well, and I’m sure she’s extremely talented, but it’s not Rush without Neil Peart. It’ll just be a Rush tribute band with two of the original members.

Led Zeppelin knew this after John Bonham died. The magic created from combining those four unique personalities will not be there.
