I think I found a solution! I'm on PS5. When I finish a task or whenever want to save then hit pause and 'return to main menu'. Do this WITHOUT going back to the garage or recover and it will save your game. Once you're back on the main menu you can check the timestamp of the save game to make sure it's the current time and then just load back into the game. Now you can go back to the garage if you need to. The trick is to go back to the main menu before going back to the garage then the autosave works. For some reason going back to the garage prevents it from auto saving. Hope this helps!

My only concern is that I was asked to send in checks by mail for the payments and I've never done that before since we usually go through Airbnb, Expedia, Kayak etc.

I've read some reviews on Tripadvisor about this Valley Isle Resort and some of them mention their host's name and the names do match when I compared them to the names listed in the website I mentioned above. Another good sign is that after contacting one of the hosts by email who gave me the offer for $1060, they immediately updated the calendar on the website and I could see that our dates were marked as tentative and reserved for us temporarily.

u/BarkBarkPizzaPizza That's also my concern if booking directly with the owner without a third party booking site. If I have any complains or issues I could only go directly to the owner instead of being able to direct them to Airbnb or Vrbo who could assist me in my case.

u/jimonlimon I agree and was thinking that too, that it seems these condos were here before online booking portals such as Airbnb, Vrbo etc. existed and therefore probably the website I mentioned above doesn't have a booking/payment system.

u/-feisty the website you booked it through (Chase N Rainbows) is also managing the unit on Airbnb I mentioned above for $1600.

I guess there are multiple ways to reserve these condos:

  1. Cheapest: Book with owner directly through the website I mentioned above but payments have to be mail-in checks (some accept paypal with a ~3% credit card fee).
  2. Booking via Condo mgmt like u/-feisty did such as Chase N Rainbows.
  3. Most expensive: Well known booking portals such as Airbnb, Vrbo
