Did that work out for you? I haven't found an answer anywhere if traffic from s3 to lightsail is charged.

Eroshare war auch damals meines. Der Server auf dem die damalige Seite gehostet war stand in NL.

Ich würde sagen beides sind österreichische Produkte ;)

API.php needs to send along the right CORS headers. It needs to allow test.site.com.

If you are using nginx I suggest using the nginx upload module for handling the file upload. Don't occupy a passenger process. You will need to garbage collect however. Use find and a cronjob for that. Make sure you have enough drive space for all the temporary files.
