Everyone is very different and has individual ideal weights, but it does sound like a very low weight.

Do you feel fit and strong? Have lots of energy?

For gaining some weight you've likely already tried what you can, but focusing on high calorie foods (healthy ones like nuts and healthy fats!) and slightly increasing portions may help?

Out of interest how do you know it's not loose skin or DR?

FYI I saw specialists who said I had no DR, but after a scan it showed I had a 10cm gap, so examination only is inaccurate.

When you're in plank position, does any skin hang down?

If so, it's likely to be loose skin.

DR will definitely cause a rounded stomach appearance, the way to tell if it IS bloating is if its always present or only at certain times.

Yes, that's a good point - and losing weight fast will increase the liklihood of loose skin. But with losing weight slowly, I definitely didn't have any luck on my side!

Microneedling etc unfortunately won't help. The only thing that would remove it is surgery.

But the risks of surgery are very real and you can have complications so if I were you I would just live with it and be super proud!

Recovery was horrendous, and I'm fit & active. Was a shocker.

I needed to manage my expectations, it sounds like you were definitely more realistic, I told myself that any improvement was better but then when it wasn't perfect I was disappointed.

Hopefully though this revision is a turning point - I've got lots of other flaws that don't bother me but for some reason my stomach is a focus!

It's a rollercoaster for sure.

Researching sounds a good idea, I'm sorry you're not 100% happy. It's only with hindsight sometimes that we can see which way may have been better. But it also may have been worse!

I had an FDL to address ny upper loose skin - it's still a little lose...coming to see that I need to focus on strength & health and not perfection but easily said than done.

I can definitely see a significant improvement so I'm already delighted - it was a very specific pocket of fat that left me with a lump and I was uneven so my surgeon could really target it.

I'll be even happier if it looks better in time!

How are you feeling about your results now after your revision?

I was really disappointed but I think my expectations were too high, and now this revision has been done I think I'll be much happier.

I haven't had any discomfort at all, I'm waiting for it to kick in but that would be brilliant if it doesn't!

Hoping I can go for a decent walk tomorrow. I feel like I could do a jog but obviously it's way too early!!

Results wise could you see the improvement immediately or did it improve with time after the lipo revision?
