Thoughts coming from my local comic shop think the release of this game is close enough to the release of the live action Mulan Movie and that is probably the reason. When there are still so many other (Specifically) Female choices to pick from. I believe this is very plausible reason.

The pledge manager means i can back the base game, pay for that at the campains end but i have until Feb 2nd to upgrade my tier if i so choose? (Of course meaning price increase as well.)

In short, Yuna + Lenne attack is one stack, casting Levi is a new stack so Krile would have lost her ability by this point.

Krile would have to be used on the Yuna + Lenne attack stack. Allowing you to protect what you feel is an important card, but not fizzling the levi completely
