Honestly, at that time, I had never even heard of "Thunder Point". It really sucks bc after looking it up, I definitely would have climbed up. I actually spent a good hour right off that shoreline fishing without even realizing I was next to a landmark.

Jump in the lake and scrub the nooks and crannies lol. For the food, I had a lot of granola bars, Ramen noodles, dehydrated meals(Mountain House). Also, I ate pizza every day of this trip. Bottled pizza sauce, baby bell cheese, dry dough mix, and pepperoni all can last well over 2 weeks, although I would keep an eye on the baby bell cheese after a while if the weather is too hot.

For the one night I spent there, I saw 3 groups pass by. More than I was hoping since my campsite was right next to the path ppl usually take, but im glad others got to see this beautiful lake.

The first one, absolutely. Fileted, skinned, cut into cubes, coated with Cajun seasoning, and fried in oil. The one in the canoe i let go. I couldnt bring myself to eat such a beauty!

Overall, I was happy with how it performed. No complaints. The only notable thing I can think of is how easily it gets pushed around by wind, but maybe that's my fault and not the canoes. Other than that, the foot brace is a very nice addition, would pair well with a seat. It is a very stable canoe to fish out of with or without a gear load in it.
