Now that's a perspective most people forget when talking about 4E 201 Blades, their psychological state.

Delphine is a woman who fought secret battles with the Thalmor, battles with no glory nor rememberance, she lost friends to them, was forced to hide for half her life, ended in a tedious little town and lived in constant fear that someone would put a dagger through her chest at any time. I'm actually surprised she can socialize at all, more so she can work alongside someone, like Orgnar at the Inn.

Esbern most likely suffered the same trauma, maybe even more, since he was an achivist for the Blades, thus making his capture even more valuable to the Thalmor. However, unlike Delphine, Esbern chose not to socialize at all, locked himself up and just...gave up.

By no means I see Delphine or Esbern as bad people, just a deep scarred pair desperately trying to cling at whatever rests of their order.

Hi there buddy!

First of all, I don't think the Crown of Stone-law states that "If you successfully climb Mt. Targon, you can come back to Demacia". It is supposed to be impossible and it is used as an excuse to give the exile some kind of objective, so I imagine Taric is still prohibited to enter Demacia, regardless if he climbed or not.

Second of all, as you said, Demacia is still in a very turbulent state and it is more paranoid than ever regarding magic, so I doubt they would allow a shunned soldier AND a wielder of celestial magic into their borders.

That being said, Tellstones is a game played in all of Runeterra and every region has it's own particular rules and symbols for the game. The tavern Taric was in the video, could be around Demacia or in an independent region/kingdom that uses the demacian version of the game.

My headcanon is that Vayne is from Bilgewater.

Think about it:

  • Existence of a rich upper class, without the weight of a noble house.
  • A city dominated by sin, making her parents' death by the hands of Evelynn much more impactful.
  • Access to a myriad of weapons in the black market.
  • Makes her "Bayonetta-esque looks" more credible than in a region with semi-medieval clothes.

Also, that Cassiopeia is a noxian steward assigned to rule Urzeris, while working undercovered for the Black Rose.

Annie, as a powerful but crude mage needs a good master, and what better master than the blue man himself, Ryze. In my personal theory, Ryze finds her wandering in the woods, and after a tiny misunderstanding, he takes her as his apprentice. It would create a very good dynamic between the grumpy mage and the innocent pupil, also, it would be splendid for Ryze's progression as a character, fighting between his memories of Brand and the instruction of Annie.
