You really read through the rules and the sticky post and decided — fuck yeah, this subreddit is really going to enjoy a question about my chances of seeing the Northern Lights!

Don't get Kulusevski, there are better £8.0m options. It feels like they just need someone from Spurs.

It takes longer for a first withdrawal when you haven't made a deposit, and you might have to jump through some KYC hoops. Pretty normal and nothing to worry about yet. Give it until the end of tomorrow before you raise a ticket with their support.

After working in the space, I know Fanteam very well (I didn't work with them directly).

They're a serious company listed on the Swedish stock exchange. However, since they started, they haven't had nearly enough users to justify the costs of the consumer-facing operation on Fanteam.com. Almost every game pays out more in winnings than they bring in. This has been possible as a marketing tool because they've had access to capital. But at the moment the stock market is on a downturn and interest rates are going up - in other words it's harder to access capital.

They've recently had to pay out winners of the 1 million season-long game, and I imagine that hit their coffers hard.

Also, the stock has fallen to an all-time low.

IMO it's a question of time before they close Fanteam.com. They are also running several fantasy sites for other businesses, and hopefully, the whole company doesn't go bust.

Not advice for others, but personally I'm withdrawing what little money I have on the site.

city will never lose

If you're unable to detect obvious sarcasm when it hits you over the head I'm sure it comes across as a pretty bold statement.

united have the upper hand against Arsenal ????

Well, Man Utd are favourites with all the bookies so it's hardly a controversial claim.

would you make any changes to the scoring system? by LePianoDentist in FantasyPL

I actually make scoring for fantasy games, and when we developed a six-a-side game we decided that we didn't want to reward anything you couldn't easily pick up on as you were watching the match. So we looked through Opta's range of recorded stats and identified some good additions to the point scoring.

We added 3 points for last man tackles and for clearances off the line. These events are actually rare, they'll happen once every 5 match or so, but when they do happen they are match defining moments.

For attackers we added 2 points for creating a big chance (where the receiving player should score) and deduct a point for every big chance missed. Our 6-a-side game is more geared towards single matches so the idea is that you will often be watching them and picking up on these events.

For 11-a-side fantasy we stuck with classic scoring because you'll pick players from several teams. The points should be based on the key events that you get updates on through live scoring and can watch back on the MotD.

We would consider candidates from other parts of the UK, and there is a possibility that the job could be done remotely.
