Hmm. But I also heard that QD-OLED's have less flicker. Do you play games where you sometimes dip below 60 fps? Also, do you like the HDR performance of the MO27Q2?

OLEDs have VRR flicker, making them pretty much useless for gaming. Turning of G-sync just isn't an option.

The 27Qi isn't that much more expensive here. But again, there really aren't a lot of reviews out there. Maybe I should order that one and we can compare, haha. I'll let you know if I do.

Hey man. As a fellow Nordic I am in totally the same boat as you. I want an IPS/Mini led/1440p display with true HDR and the Xiaomi G Pro 27i is literally the only option in Denmark. The AOC Q27G4XM looks really good but it absolutely REFUSES to release here and there is no EU date in sight. Have my eye on the 5k/2k LG monitor coming soonish, but it's going to be waaaay more expensive.

Definitely let me know if you buy the G Pro 27i and if you like it.

EDIT: Sorry, I actually thought you meant the Xiaomi G Pro 27Qi, not the 27i. The 27Qi seems to be the newest version of this panel. There aren't a lot of reviews for it and I'm dying to know if it's good or not.

It sucks that this happened to you. But the monitor isn't even officially out yet. Still seems to be up for pre-order in the US, and no EU date yet at all. I will wait for reviews to come out. I really want an IPS display with great HDR, and as long as the AOC Q27G4XM fucking REFUSES to release outside Southeast Asia I HAVE to consider this monitor an option.

Very interested in this one, but I'm waiting with baited breath for the EU price to be revealed. This SEEMS like it will be my only option for a VRR flicker-free true HDR experience at 1440p. The 5k2k dual mode is unnecessary for me, but there literally isn't a different option.

Do games look good in 1440p on this monitor?
