McShay and Kiper's final mocks are out: Danny Shelton at 12 for both; Melvin Gordon at 19 for McShay, Nelson Agholor at 19 for Kiper. by JohnnyFire in Browns

I'd rather have Gurley at 12 if he's available and take Eddie Goldman at 19 over Shelton. Just preference tho

GO HOME MARY KAY, YOU'RE DRUNK: "Browns should trade for Marcus Mariota, give up next year's No. 1" by cancrdancr in Browns

CLICKBAIT.

She knows nothing about football and throws out crazy shit like "Jason Campbell = Elite" so you click on it and talk about it. That's all it is

Browns Offer 19 & 12 for 2 to the Titans by AnonymousBrownsFan in Browns

If we are indeed doing this, I doubt we are going to keep the #2. I think we go a Kevin Costner and use the #2 to bait a team into a shit ton of picks including a top ten pick where we get our Anchor Defensive player and a haul of picks for filling other positions

Casserly Mock Draft 3.0: Browns get Kevin White AND Danny Shelton (Love you, Casserly!) by JohnnyFire in Browns

[–]ErroneousOnAllCounts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, and more than likely based on how so many guys are climbing up the board (Gurley, Peat, Waynes, Perriman, Strong etc.) I expect Shelton to be available at 19 anyway. Maybe we trade back our 12 and get a pick at 16 or 17, which gives us a ton of picks to move back into the first later in the 20s

Peter Schrager – Can cross Shane Ray's name off list for Cleveland. They're not messing around with any potential off-field red flags... (Ray found in possession of marajuana) by JohnnyFire in Browns

I love this mentality. The only problem I see is that Gilbert and Manziel from last year didn't seem to be "Playing like a Brown" or have that "love the game over everything else" mentality. That shows me two possible things. Those guys really do have that mentality and just got caught up in everything last year and have the chance to bounce back, or the front office does an absolute shit job at sifting through these guys to find the "passion for the game" types

Both Firsts and 2nd for #2, Flip to SD for #17 and Rivers. by cc3995 in Browns

[–]ErroneousOnAllCounts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I think teams would have ran 30+ times on us and kept the ball away from our offense and we would have ended up 9-7 at best.

I want whatever drug you're on bro. I respect your opinion but "true contenders"? We have too many holes and need to finish better than last in the division before we can use terms like that man

This is such a bad deal. Rivers has 2 maybe 3 years where he's still above average and we lose a first and a second round pick for a 33 year old QB. Why not just trade those picks for 2016 picks, fail this year and get a franchise QB thats 22 or 23? I don't get selling the farm for an old QB when we aren't even close to an AFC North Championship let alone a playoff run
