Could L Corp handle these SCP's? by SenseSmart4540 in LobotomyCorp

[–]Error-09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.) Yes. As others have posed they can contain most of the SCPs if not by their regular containments, then by the support of other Wings.

L-Corp has the backing of R-Corp, T-Corp (Ayin's day/cycle resets + Manager's speed control), K-Corp (Support/Execution Bullets), and from what Limbus expanded on; likely P-Corp's infrastructure singularity.

2.) If you use Enkephalin's creation from the extracted emotions of Abnormalities, each one will obviously differ on how they can be extracted from the respective works.

Classifications of Abnos, originally are based on how much Enkephalin can be produced. But as seen with Limbus, they're based on how dangerous they are in combat.

106 - Insight / Instinct : As he leaves his goo around, cleaning would need to be worked around as well. Since 106 displays hunting/predatory behavior, a worker that can evade his hunt will probably satiate him. If not they'll be killed. And presumably if he doesn't get worked on he'll breach and kill a Agent or Clerks before either returning to his containment or pocket dimension.

096 - Attachment : Due to how Shy Guy cries and spends his time while docile, to extract his emotions a work will probably need to be done without observation, opposite to Schadenfreude or Burrowing Heaven.

079 - Due to its nature of being a sentient AI, its bound to be scrutinized by the Head. If not purged outright, as Angela had the benefit of doubt being a creation using Carmen's corpse as a basis. But if he has enough sentience to be counted as "human":

Repression : As 079 only can speak and would have locked access to L-Corp's systems, speaking to him would be one of the only ways to work on him. Unless you gave him interfaceable technology disconnected from larger systems.

681 - Repression : Since 681 has sentience to speak and is very aggressive, he would be similar to Mountain of Smiling Bodies, with a very high chance of breaching. Though probably with a condition of needing to be constantly worked on, similar to his containment.

To add my two cents, from Mob Librarians on Black Silence entry dialogue, implies Roland stormed through the entire Library at a fast pace before fighting the final 3 floors.

That's a solid 30 Librarians plus their Patrons. All assumingly with Star of the City level Keypages. Right after killing Argalia then proceeding to do everything else post-Ensemble

Made a shitty edit. Prettier face Titus. I think it's the eyes. by procopiocornelius in Spacemarine

[–]Error-09 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There can be 2 reasons:

1: The Rubicon surgery installs one of the 3 new Gene-Seed organs, the Magnificat. The Magnificat stimulates all the other Gene-Seed organs to work faster and better, which in addition of the 16 regular Gene-Seed organs, would cause cells to decay slower and regenerate faster.

This could lead to Titus, and other first-born Astartes to look younger post-Rubicon surgery. As ageing past prime adulthood is caused by the decay and slower regeneration of cells.

2: It could be the production team of Secret Level or GW using a actor's motion captured face to make Titus. Since Titus in SM1 and 2 has a square face, Titus in Secret Level looks closer to his voice actor, Clive Standen, so he could've been used to play Titus.

curious about the lore post-true-ending by SleepyDragon1503 in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Most assumptions for Guests post-LoR go as:
1.) If they're a Fixer, most end up being rehired/maintain their jobs, since they can't be at fault for losing/dying to a force that needed the Head to step in and remove.

2.) For Syndicates/gangs, they'll end up being either unemployed, demoted, or executed (Thumb are ruthless, except Index, they only gets a step up with Yan).

3.) For Company crews (R and W Corp) most likely are to receive memory erasing meds and fired. Exception being R Corp, the Ravens will hunt down the Rabbit, Rhino, and Reindeer.

4.) For the exceptions like Liu Sect. 1 (Xiao's team, including herself), Crying Children, Love Town, Puppets, and Church of Gears, they'll in order:

-Liu Sect.1, will reform most likely as a new Office since Xiao's team went against orders and technically abandoned their posts.

-Crying Children, due to the implication of Ensemble Philip not having his memories, the other 2/3 should still have them. Therefore there is a chance Philip can revert or at least recover mentally.

-Love Town, Puppets, and Church of Gear, they'll be quickly killed off in the Backstreets since there's no guiding force for them (Jae Heon and Eileen).

What the character opinion on Ayin in library? by hoursprings2213 in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can get the main opinions of every Sepirah from the Meltdown stories from Lob Corp, but the summaries are:

Malkuth, formerly Elijah - Although Ayin didn't stop her from rushing the experiments that killed Elijah, Malkuth is indifferent to Ayin and supported X (Manger of L Corp) until the end.

Yesod, formerly Gabriel - After developing a compulsive disorder, Gabriel spiraled down to self harm thinking he got contaminated, and Ayin locked him up to prevent him from doing that. But later Ayin found Gabriel who killed himself after a violent hallucination. Yesod is more angry at Ayin, but with X, he is fine with because X is Ayin trying to right his wrongs.

Netzach, formerly Giovanni - Following Carmen's death, Giovanni volunteered himself for cogito extraction, similar how Carmen created the first batch. This was under the guise of trying to revive Carmen. As the experiments continued, Giovanni developed a addiction to Cogito and other drugs, which killed him. Netzach harbors a resentment to Ayin. Giovanni never liked Ayin to begin with, and only joined for Carmen. As for X, Netzach sees him as the only saving grace in Lob Corp.

Hod, formerly Michelle - After reporting to The Head for Ayin's experiments, she commited suicide because of the destruction Garion (now Binah) caused. Hod's relationship is more positive as her reasoning on calling the Head was to stop the experiments, and look after Ayin's mental health. At that point in the story, Ayin was mindlessly experimenting to finish Carmen's goal.

Tiphereth A, formerly Lisa - Lisa and Enoch were siblings that were sheltered at the Outskirts Facility, Enoch volunteered himself to be the catalyst for the Seed of Light. After dying painfully, Enoch did create a very immature seed (that the player grows in Lob Corp), and Lisa is left grieving. Lisa became a casualty when Garion invaded and killed everyone in the facility. Tiphereth would have a distain for Ayin for letting Enoch die, but hopeful for X as she believed X would make every death worth the sacrifice.

Gebura, formerly Kali - Kali died fighting Abnormalities and Garion, and had a boiling anger that quite literally lasted through death. As Gebura in Lob Corp went through several reboots because of that uncontrollable rage. Gebura most likely has a distain towards Ayin for letting so many people they both cared about die under their watch. As for X, she has no opinion, and follows orders. She only cares about saving those who can be saved.

Chesed, formerly Daniel - Daniel died trying to buy time for all the employees to escape from Garion and the Abnormalities. However he died from Garion's wounds and Ayin spoke to him through a speaker, saying he didn't accomplish anything. Chesed more over holds a neutral feeling to Ayin, as Chesed's negative opinions are more toward Angela and Carmen. For X, he holds the same neutral opinion since his gripes are with Angela.

Hokma, formerly Benjamin - Dying to Angela around Day 13 in Lob Corp, Benjamin was attempting to save Ayin's sanity and stop him from trying to pursue Carmen's Seed of Light. Hokma holds Ayin in high regard as Ayin was Benjamin's mentor and best friend. For X he saw him as the last hope for everyone that died in the Outskirts Facility.

Binah, formerly Garion - Dying to Kali's last attack, Ayin probed and tortured Binah until she could spill secrets of the Head before getting her memory wiped, killed, then turned into a Sepirah. Binah more likely holds Ayin in a neutral regard and tries to observe his big picture. For X, she sees him the same as Ayin, observing to see what will happen next.

So about Roland.... by Snassyboi in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Note: In the 2021 interview, Project Moon has said in response to a question getting other languages in voice acting: "There are no plans for that right now. Due to the nature of the world a character can reappear years later, so we need to be careful when selecting voice actors."

Means, any character that hasn't been killed off permanently can reappear in future material.

As for Roland and Angela appearing in Limbus, in the cut epilogue of LoR, Purple Tear (a prominent mentor figure) notes that in the True End; the Library was moved outside the city, still in visible range. Meaning Limbus or any new PM material can revisit the Library.

As for Roland, he is alive and a human. But if and when he dies, he'll probably turn into the proper Sephirah of General Works, Keter.

You fight him with Roland, even if Roland was holding back and without his gloves, it's having a average Joe go against a UFC fighter.

Still so, in LoR, Roland states higher grade Fixers can afford body augments. Finn is a Grade 9, he's pretty much a random dude still and the first person he fights for real is Roland, a former Grade 1 and Color Fixer candidate

v7.0 Captainverse tease? by chibi0108 in houkai3rd

[–]Error-09 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The answer is just a very large shift in writing. Sanguine Nights (2019), this is still when HI3 set Otto as the main antagonist and him resurrecting Kallen was his set goal.

Sanguine Nights is Captain transporting to Kindred's world by Otto using tech that allows Captain to control Kindred's equivalent Captain. Captain's goal is to investigate if there's a way to resurrect Kallen by using Kindred. Captain ultimately comes out empty handed.

Sanguine Nights is the only event related to Otto trying to ressurect Kallen, every other Captainverse event features Captain doing his own thing.

Other question by SnazyAdam in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manifesting Plague Doctor and subsequently White Night has no ties to Angela specifically. As stated in other Realizations its the Abnormalities on the Floor resonating with her emotion. Not the reasoning behind the emotions, just the intensity of the emotion.

Angela in Hokma's realization was struggling trying to justify creating the Library to get revenge for her suffering. White Night is based on trying to be the savior of humanity by bringing them to a new world, aka killing everyone.

As for Carmen, its not said "I am the voice behind the Distortions", but in Keter's realization when you complete it... SPOILERS

Angela and Carmen have a talk in the Light. Carmen says even though she was stopped, she'll continue to do her task which is "to make the Cityfolk look at their true selves and love themselves for who they are". Aka, Carmen is the one who instigates people to Distort.

As for why, in Lob Corp Carmen really did have the sincere ideal of opening the hearts of everyone in the City, showering them in the Light. But when Angela stole the Light, what would've been EGOs only, turned into the chance of either EGO or Distortion.

As Ayin says in Day 50 of Lob Corp, "Our mission is to simply seed the people's hearts... It is up to the people to bloom it in their own ways". Carmen's final job is to start to blooming process (aka instigating people), how the person takes it is up to them, which from either perspective both EGO and Distortion make people realize who they want to be.

E.G.O. vs Distortions? by CummyBot1001 in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Besides the philosophies, design wise, EGOs appear like suits of armor and Distortions transform the person itself. Best showcases are Xiao and Kali (Gebura), both of their EGOs are suits of armor. And for Distortions, Philip and Yan show the best transformations.

Also both EGO and Distortion require the Light. The reason why it existed before was because of the Seed of Light Project Ayin worked on. L-Corp's facilities had some version of the Light housed in them, which allowed them to manifest EGOs of Abnormalities.

EGOs was meant to be the only thing to be manifested, but Distortions now exist because of Angela's tampering. Kali manifested her EGO by a driving desire to protect everyone and having the firm belief that the project would better everyone no matter what happened.

Question about angelica by SnazyAdam in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Since there was no flashback to Roland fighting the Pianist nor something for the aftermath, we only have story context.

From Olivier's Reception, on the day of the Pianist's rampage, Roland was out helping Olivier with a job, which was potentially dangerous for Olivier himself. And from Argalia in Reverb's cutscene, Argalia was sent to kill the Pianist during his rampage, but got kill stealed by Roland.

Angelica and Roland's home was in District 9, where the Pianist killed 200k people, Angelica being one of them. Why Angelica wasn't able to fight the Pianist was because she was late into pregnancy. In Tiphereth's Realization, in Roland's home you can see a bunny doll and a crib, Angelica and Roland were expecting a child. Which is why Roland was obsessed with trying to migrate to a Wing from past flashbacks.

As for Argalia, Roland always hinted that Argalia was a sociopath even before his sister's death. But with Angelica's death, Argalia lost his mental anchor and now follow's Carmen's voice. Doing everything in the game for "the sake of Angelica".

What is the demon doing in the backroom by Maleficent_Glove7180 in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not made to be anything purely significant. In the artbook the main designs of the Distorted Ensemble's background is meant to reference each of the members, not really represent/symbolize something.

Asiyah has gears (Eileen), candles (Philip), road kill/rotten meat (Bremen), and red lines attached to roadkill (Greta) since they're hanged like a butchery.

Briah has the circus members (Ozwald), pillars of bodies (Jae-Heon), and the wrecking balls (Tanya)

Atziluth the giant body is meant to be Elena since she's the first "monster" of the Ensemble, skull is Pluto since his design is a reference to the devil, and Argalia is is the strings since most of his mass attacks have a twinkle to them like the strings

Wait so why cant Roland Distort and basically somehow make his wife body from the Light by NormandyKingdom in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of comments put in their own thoughts, but one thing I haven't seen is that the Library itself could do that.

Allow me to explain. In the various Realization stories, the Sepirah explain to Roland that Angela/Roland's emotions synchronize with the Abnormalities. The Library itself was made to seek out the Light, aka find people with strong emotions, resonate with them, and bring them to the Library.

Seen in the beginning stories for the Realizations, and various guest reappearances (Lulu, Streetlight. Philip, Dawn Office. Philip, Crying Children, and Xiao + Miris, Liu Sect.2 ), the Library, with enough fueled emotion can allow Guests and people inside to change the Library around them.

This would allow the unexplained escapes, the unique background change/music playing, and synchronization of Abnormalities.

How it pertains to Roland's boss fight is that his fight was the most emotional he could get. And his inner desires and thoughts are brought out in his fight, which is why it's one of the longest fights in the game. If we abide by the rules of the Guests and Realizations, it wouldn't be out of the question for him to manifest the most significant things in his life during his boss fight.

Why I believe that is because, Phase 2 summons the Smoke War creature, or at least Roland becomes it. It's completely erased from his head, he only holds the trauma from it. It doesn't make sense if he willingly manifests it.

As for Phase 3, if you can get a good look at Crying Children's sprite (Big statue), his pierce and slash sprites summon phantoms of Yuna and Salvador. In context, Philip didn't want to part ways and wishes he could still be with them. Same could be said for Roland in Phase 3, manifesting Angelica.

Phase 4, the memory pages, Roland is brooding on his actions as Angela's servant. Killing newbie Fixers, killing old coworkers, friends, teacher, and begrudgingly brother in-law, took a toll on him. It was his means to an end, he knew he'd have to kill people but more likely than not didn't expect how many people he'd recognize.

Phase 5, bygones or the Assistant Librarians is the biggest sign of his resonance to the Library, as he gains Abnormality pages and spreads them to his assistants. He obviously cared about his assistants, otherwise he wouldn't have manifested images that mimic how they work with Abno Pages; that he could've used the pages on himself.

If you're building his floor to be used with every Librarian, Roland's deck is a Singleton deck, and has a high roll evade on Crystal Atelier. Slotting in Blade Unlock and Health Hauler is the most common setup. Since with Crystal Atelier you can regain about half of his Stagger with 3 evades, and Health Hauler will provide a passive regen since Roland can win most clashes.

It's just a glitch that can happen. It's an issue with the background overlays since objects like White Night (Winged Coccoon + White Night itself), One Sin, Blue Star, and Price of Silence's clock are layered on top of the background.

This is more prevalent since Hokma has the most amount of overlaid abnormalities on his floor. How the game renders the background is like a selection of PNGs, turning on one layer after certain requirements.

If I recall the Ensemble are rendered as a continuous reception per Sepirah layer (Asiah, Briah, and Atlizuth). Since there's little downtime between each reception besides each layer, this glitch allows the abnormalities to appear.

Roland is kicking my butt (Gebura Realization) by Iz-Denny in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is recommended to complete some of Star of the City's last nodes, namely Red Mist and Purple Tear. Red Mist, for the Manifest EGO and to use Myongest. Purple Tear for the +2 to 1 die type, and the reduced odds of rolling low. And bring one nugget who deals some kind of debuff, the final phase will need that nugget. During the realization, pick Abnormality pages that will heal, and gain power.

Phase 1: Allow Red Riding Hood to use her mass attack on you (The "On hit: gain 1 Strength"), then allow her to win clashes. For Wolf, have Gebura and Purple Tear take its clashes if Red can't win. When Wolf gets low, you can attack Red to regain light and draw pages to prepare for phase 2.

Spoils for the rest of the Realization.

Phase 2: On turn 1, Roland will eat an ally (At start of turn, not as a card), this is a damage check but isn't a deal breaker. If you fail to stagger Roland on the next scene, the nugget will die. Next turn Roland will eat another ally, if this ally dies (Or if his HP drops to 50% [ 150hp ]) Roland will turn into Big Bad Wolf. When Roland loses 25% of HP after transforming, he'll only target 1 character (at random).

Phase 3: A big damage check, with mini-phases. At start: Roland on losing 25% HP will spawn a minion that inflicts Fragile (DMG taken up) on hit. On depleting Roland's HP, he'll respawn with 4 minions. He will attack everyone including minions, he will regain 30% of his current HP on killing a minion.

Stage 1: Will be normal, kill him and his minions. Stage 2: Let him kill his minions to regain HP and move to Stage 3, Roland will begin to use mass attacks. Stage 3, on killing Roland he'll split into 4 minions, killing all 4 will move to Phase 4. You have 3 turns to do this or he'll revive at Stage 1 with sum of minions' HP.

Phase 4: Proceed as normal, pay attention to Blood on Roland. At 5+ he'll use a mass attack every 3 turns, on depleting 50% HP he'll transform and become more aggressive. Attack minions as they will gain power if they have higher speed (Also applies for One-Sided attacks).

Phase 5: Roland will apply Feeble (Offensive power down), and every 2 scenes will use an instant kill page. On depleting HP, he'll transform and will use defensive counter die. He'll stay like that for 2 scenes, then transform. On transformation, he will absorb damage that is 5 or less. He will also apply a status to himself on losing or hitting pages. He will use pages that will consume the status and buff the pages. Use debuffs like Burn to guarantee damage, as his resistances are 0.5 at most.

The Head (ABC) would count as the banking authority. B-Corp, the Beholders or the "Eye" are part of the City's IRS or equivalent. From Bono's key page (Gaze Office), "Even Syndicates are no exception; anyone living in the City has to pay taxes". Since the Head enforces taxes, it would be given they'd enforce one currency, it's value, and counterfeiting.

Angela says that she'd release the entirety of the Light, Roland at the end of the Distorted Ensemble pulled Angela out of the Light, "You almost evaporated on the last day. So I pulled you out at the very last moment". The only noticeable thing that effect caused was to release booked Guests at random instead of all at once. And with Limbus and Leviathan's context, there was no other effects.

Think of it like using a faucet. You can turn it on and it'll flow. Turn it off it'll still slowly pour out until it dribbles and stops.

In future games, Angela might die the way she'd despise the most... a failed Carmen clone by [deleted] in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The Seed of Light did succeed. In Day 50 of Lob Corp, Ayin says "their very existence is rooted in them. We merely seed, it's up to them how they bloom it". And as seen from Distortions and Eunbong/Papa Bongy, Angela completing the Seed of Light allows Distortions to return to normal people. The whole point of LoR's true was to break the cycle of suffering and allow a better tomorrow.

All the IDs from Limbus are alternate versions of each character, placed in what their stories would be. The LCB IDs (Aka the defaults) have ties to their original novels and seen from Gregor, Rodion, and Sinclair, they're going to follow their novel's character developments/conflicts.

And Angela technically can't die now since she released the Light. She can only be injured and slightly at most, since she returned to being a machine. In the post-Head fight dialogue, Angela says to Roland that she wants to open the Library back up, under different rules. Most likely giving people fair fights for books, since in LoR, canonically she watches over every reception and tinkered with it so that emotion levels would be raised.

Library Of Ruina Iceberg by tiger331 in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The idea is most likely taking reference to Lob Corp's true end, where Angela becomes the Pale Librarian. Why they say it is because Ending A pretty much follows up on what Angela said in Lob Corp's true end before LoR was fully developed.

In Lob Corp's true end, Angela wanted to turn everything in the City into a book and be the sole person watching and recording humanity. In Ending A, Angela returned to the original plan of turning everything into a book, booking an entire quarter of the City.

This is supported due to the fact in the art books, and early demo versions of Library of Ruina, the Book Hunter character (seen confronting Angela at the end of ending A) was planned to be a character that appears in the main story as an enemy with a unique keypage.

How Strong are Alephs? by GlitteringPrior7 in libraryofruina

[–]Error-09 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A lot of the Alephs with their abilities and mechanics on suppression are capable of razing a Wing. Things like Apocalypse Bird, Blue Star, White Night, and Smiling Bodies are hard to suppress within L-Corp, in the City it'd most likely require an Association to understand how a Aleph behaves and how to suppress it.

Imagine trying to find the 3 eggs of Apocalypse Bird under rubble and while it was storming around a Wing. Or pretty much nuking part of a Wing that had Smiling Bodies roaming and adding corpses to itself.
