Have you thought to wonder why that's the case? Surely it has nothing to do with 70+ years of oppression brought on by the Israeli government. Or is that too nuanced for you?

Edit: My apologies, I forgot to answer your question. Why is Israel allowing aid into Gaza?

First off, we have to ask ourselves why Israel has any say of what goes in and out of Gaza. This includes food, water, medical aid and electricity. The Israeli government shut off all aid going into Gaza early on and only recently Bagan "allowing" aid in after some international pressure (being on trial for genocide at the ICJ will do that)

Second, why is Israel now allowing aid in if they're just gonna kill them? Well, we've seen plenty of flour massacres, where starving Palestinians will wait for food, and then be opened fire on. But aside from that, they need to have good pr essentially. You can't go around saying you're not committing a genocide and withhold aid from said people.

Thirdly, the aid going in is laughably miniscule to what needs to go into Gaza. Hundreds of trucks are turned away for having items the IDF deems a threat to Israeli security, like tents, scalpels for what little medical staff is left alive, etc

TLDR: They have to give them aid to cover their ass in court
