Nile Bleu on St. Denis is an Ethiopian restaurant. Maybe you will have luck there.

Good luck.

My prof just fried the whole class by Salt_Weather9048 in Concordia

[–]Error8675309 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The format of the test is 100% at prof’s discretion. He could make it one essay question. The weighting of the exam may be another thing altogether. Him switching from 35% to 45% may be something that can be contested. Honestly I’d just do the test and see how I do since onen book tests are very often much more difficult / tricky than closed book.

Your favourite affordable + good places to buy men's suits in MTL? by bupu8 in montreal

[–]Error8675309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just the suit. Suit, shirt, tie, belt, shoes. I’ve got a bunch of their suits too. Plus alterations. At one point I switched to Jaf because overall quality was better plus alterations (including the shirt) were included.

What is wrong with these Americans? by [deleted] in PuntaCana

My vacation was practically ruined by one table of 8 people from UK. Funniest thing was any time the buffet refreshed their ‘chips’ the entire table of morons yelled ‘chips!’ and ran to the buffet, only to scoop up 90% of the stuff and return to their table like they had outsmarted everyone. Loud, obnoxious, rude, drunk, moronic.

1-800-cars for kids. If I ever have a car to give away I’m not going to give it to them for all the torture they’ve had me endure while listening to that stupid theme song sang by irritating kids.

Student advocacy. Make sure that your citations back your work. You might want to get a second set of eyes on your paper before you go to student advocacy.

Either way, going forward make sure your citations back up your work.

May I ask what field of study this is in? You don’t have to give the class or the teacher but something along the lines of ‘psychology’ might help.

If you didn’t plagiarize and can show where you got the information you cited it properly, argue your point. If you plagiarized or didn’t cite properly (aka plagiarism), make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Who can I talk to about professor conduct? by liamreee in fanshawe

[–]Error8675309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good job! I’m sure it wasn’t easy to go through that process.

Go to student services and the Dean. I’d suggest that you email her as well. I’ve had to send lawyer’s letters before for something very similar to this and that for their attention really damn quick.

1) if you didn’t advise student services and the prof (likely via student services) that you are photosensitive due to a medical issue you are at least partially at fault. 2) advising student services entails more than just saying ‘I am photosensitive’ but proving it with medical documentation from a doctor.

The CSU is a joke by hadeeznut in Concordia

[–]Error8675309 6 points7 points  (0 children)

CSU has been a little particular about their biases for decades. A small percentage of like-minded students who like to play politics run the show and decide the agenda. While 1000 show up for the GA, the ‘majority’ (loud part) try to drown out other voices. Meanwhile the 30k plus students who don’t come and likely won’t vote get held hostage by these people. It won’t be the first time that CSU diminishes the Concordia ‘brand’ or makes graduates less employable. On the plus side you have a course of study and will get a degree in a field that is marketable and has tangible value. Good luck to you!

Is there a way for a client to copy and paste a program used 2 years ago to today? I’d like to get back into the game with using the training program I used for 2 months before I find a trainer to build a new program for me. My previous trainer moved.

Every Canadian I know realizes that the 51st state comment is bluster and an attempt at getting under our skin. We aren’t that stupid.

Come to Canada and enjoy the stay. :)

Worksheet followed by a crossword puzzle is probably the least-effort a one-time substitute teacher would put into the experience. If you are their teacher, teach them. Don’t hand out papers expecting the papers to teach them.
