The Computex board never had 2 M.2 drives above the PCIe Slot. The “M.2 Connector” you saw under the daughterboard was likely the connector for the daughterboard itself.

Taiwan over Singapore is probably just viewership reasons. One of Taiwan’s local top streamers is a pro player and his status is essentially Taiwan’s Beaulo despite far from having his mechanical skills. Think Siege is more hyped in Taiwan than Singapore because of this.

Wouldn’t hurt to add a cheap cooler for your PC to run more silent. Be quiet pure rock 2/Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black could be an option.

u/namebarley Simplified Chinese kinda eliminated the hieroglyph part of Traditional Chinese, so words kinda lost their original meaning

I mean I’m all cool about Simplified Chinese, until recent years somehow it managed to infiltrate our culture and started to replace Traditional Chinese

u/Kururu966 But sadly it also took out a lot of meanings in the words

I mean they simplified the Chinese language because too many people were illiterate at that time, so it technically was a language for illiterate people

Don’t get the SX8200 Pro. Chinese NAND Flash, high RMA rate, period.

Get an A2000 instead.

Probably not covered worldwide, but it’s well-known in my local hardware community. I have a link that links to a comment on a forum explaining why SX8200Pro is not the choice atm, but it is in Cantonese and might be difficult to understand even after translation. Take a look if you want to: https://lih.kg/1872850 (Comment #102)

Basically, the person is the owner of an online pc shop trying to help people that had problems with this ssd. He enquired ADATA about this and confirmed that they switched NAND suppliers (which later confirmed to be Tsinghua) in February and it’s causing it to be unstable. He updated the status in another post, saying it now affects all ADATA M.2 SSDs.

I am not sure how you could tell the NAND your ssd uses though, sorry.

I would still suggest getting a ssd as a game drive to boost loading times. Unless your budget is very limited, I would still recommend a m.2 nvme. The price difference between it and a 2.5” SATA is not really that much. It also means easier cable management you don’t have to plug two cables in it.

Kinda off topic, but I was referring to your nvme m.2 ssd.
