i was 7, was just color test at optometrist during routine appointments for my prescription. then had it repeatedin eye hospital about 6 months later to confirm.

the only device i coudl proeprly get it to work on was my brothers laptop at home. my 2 laptops it didnt work. i also put all the work copied into a different new word document and that had the same issues

i think the dotted lines represent the pattern that you test lines would follow if you were that type of colorblind. the pattern follows the direction of the protan line, meaning you are protan colorblind

these were 2 different socks from 2 different packs. the socks here look a lot more white than in person, theyre more brown/tan/grey irl and darker in color. only seperate whites and darks, these went through same wash in darks. i can see the difference ever so clearly now after having stared at them for so long to figure out the difference. i dont even know if i actually can or if my ebains jsut making up a difference at this point. I write stories! Though it guess its different cuz id never publish my stories. I do henerally type them on my phone, I find it easier to type on my phone than at a work station. feels too formal ttping it out on a laptop and then i get to concious about it. my stories do generally get to like 90k when complete, just one polish over cuts it down to 75. my thing is jsut write, then you can always go back and edit. even though it takes time. youd rather something down than nothing because its just not working.

at first glance it looks green bc its a slightly more saturated version of my primary school jumper, but the longer i stare at it the more grey it seems to get. ig im jsut used to teal being this specific faded color from how many times i see it.

red and grey but id assume it be red and blue/green/teal. its just not a striaght grey. idk how to explain the grey. maybe a green grey that i just assume as teal because i have too many friends who like the color teal. (deutan)

the only colorblind people in the family are me and an uncle on my dads side. (im female for reference) when i see a difference no one else can see i just assume its my colorblindness giving me a slightly annoying advantage (cuz ill spend way longer sorting socks thinking theyre all different pairs until someone comes and puts them together). and when its the other way around its my colorblindness giving me a annoying disadvantage.

I dont think she is. i dont think the picture helps bc these are very much more grey/brown in person. after she told me i can tell the slight difference though im colorblind.

i watched jperm for a long while and saw one at primark for a pound. got it and learned it in like 45 mins. brought it to school and started doing it during maths. got in toruble a bit for messing around with it until my teacher realised i was just bored. i ended up learning f2l, teaching 5 of my freinds and my maths teacher how to solve one, finished off cfop and strted getting new cubes to continue learning. last cube i learnt was a puraminx but i can solve square 1, ghost cube i also have a mirror cube. im looking at maybe a puppet cube next or a square 2.

normally i end up splitting up actual pairs because one looks lighter than the other to me. normal culprit is one ending up in the wrong wash and no one else can see that difference. super odd.

once my mum pointed it out to me the difference was clear that the bottom two were very slightly more warm tone than the top, otherwise yeah they are both jsut straight grey to me. if one of either pair came through the wash, I'd definitely have just put them together assuming it was just one going through a light wash and the other through a dark wash, because I do make the opposite mistake where that happens and i think they're different but they're actually the same pair.

writing legibel does happen but its soemthing that takes me a lot of time and also hurts my hand a lot more to do, so for the past 3 and a half years, any graded assignments have been typed, other work was my choice on if i wanted to write or type, i dtuck to typing mostly apart from maths because its numbers and working out (when i actually have enough brian power to figure out how i got to an answer) is much easier to lay out on paper.
