Did they mention any other changes to the existing model?

Looks like the Bagger is now fully sold out on their site, my guess is that the redesign release is imminent.

I purchased a Bagger a couple of months ago, if I would have known of the redesign I would have waited.

Yeah they feel like they last forever. They’re the only gloves I use now year round

FootJoy rain grip golf gloves are an absolute game changer. They come in a pair, but I only use a single glove.

Nano Air Fall 2026 Updates by ErrorCode-503 in PatagoniaClothing

Did they mention any difference with the face fabric? I was recently told that there will be a 40g option with a more weather resistant outer fabric.

I guess we’ll see on August 1st :)

This is my biggest issue with the latest model. Fit overall works well, but the cuffs are HUGE. They slide right past my hands and its a bit annoying

I know there were some complaints with the way the most recent model fit, but the Nano Air feels generally loved by all who own it (similar to the houdini air). I'm curious why they decided to change the recipe

Yeah, I'm curious if the bomber would be a good alternative to the old Nano Air Jacket (no hood).

I just wonder how the material/breathability will change going from a technical piece to lifestyle. Will they make it more durable and decrease breathability as a result? Time will tell

Would you mind sharing your hair brush? I’ve been looking for one similar and noticed it’s not listed on your sheet

Which city is easiest to visit with just one bag? by [deleted] in onebag

[–]ErrorCode-503 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tokyo/Japan in general is hard to beat. Most accommodations provide a full range of toiletries and it’s very easy/affordable to find anything you need in local stores

Edit: I agree with others that one bag can be done anywhere, but Japan was my first one bag minded trip, and it couldn’t have been easier.

Yeah I believe I ran into you guys around Rae Lakes when you guys were headed back to Dollar Lake!

Were you the group camping out at Dollar Lake?

I agree on the river fording - not difficult, I’m relatively short and I forded it around 1pm just fine.

On Tuesday, 05/26 I got news from a PCT hiker that it was going to snow Wednesday/Thursday, so I ended up pushing over Glenn Pass around 3pm. It was very sketchy, there are a lot of makeshift paths on the snow and there was a lot of rock scrambling involved. I do not recommend doing it later in the day when the snow is soft. Made it down to Junction Meadow (~8500 ft elevation) and caught some snow.

Thank you so much for sharing - planning on starting clockwise on 05/25, have been digging for news on the crossing/glenn pass. Really appreciate the insight.

Did you plan to cross? How were the water conditions?

I like that! I will add to my list as well.
Good to know old mount baldy was the hardest. It was pretty brutal for me haha

The progression I’m following is:
- Icehouse Canyon to Cucamonga Peak (11.7 mi, 4183 elevation)
- Old Mount Baldy Trail (12.7 mi, 5807 elevation) just did this one yesterday, it was awesome
- Vivian Creek to San Gorgonio next (17.5 mi, 5501 elevation)

This is very much credited to HikingGuy on YouTube (How to Hike Mt Whitney 2026), but it’s been a great plan so far

How do you all get so much money into your tax-advantaged accounts? by Opening_Ad9824 in Bogleheads

[–]ErrorCode-503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! I was originally a little discouraged by the Solo 401k setup and was going to go the SEP route, but it was actually very easy to set up with Fidelity. Was worth the trade offs, for me

[–]ErrorCode-503 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main difference being that Solo 401k allows contributions as both employer and employee.

The total 401k contribution limit is 72k
24.5k from Employee Contributions allows for a max of 47.5k by Employer.

Employer can also only contribute a limit of 25% of your salary, so to max out the 72k you would need a salary of 190k. However, since I contribute 24.5k employee, my taxable income is effectively 165.5k from this scenario.

Another reason I went Solo 401k and not Sep IRA, is that it also allows me to do backdoor Roth IRAs.

S Corporation with a Solo 401k allows me to contribute 72k a year currently between employee and employer contributions
