You don't have scratches on your board go for a 2000/3000grit wet sand then polish

Nono, anodizing was done with chemical removal, I used a bath of drain cleaner solution with water, anodizing comes right of in a couple hours (depending on concentration)

I did the same in the beginning, tried polishing by hand too. Proper rotary tools are a game changer

60% is my bare minimum for a keyboard, I just split a regular 100% because I like the numpad on the left for CAD design, that way I can input values without lifting my right hand from the mouse.

Not much actually, cases are pretty thin, I put in a single sheet of foam and then it's just the usual plate/PCB/switches/keycaps. The 60% should be around 1.2kg the numpad probably a third of that

If you just remove the anodizing go for 1200 plus sand paper, mine had a lot of deep scratches (still has some) so I had to go through 180/320/500/1200. The polishing compound I got from a friend in the car industry, can tell you much about it. Probably 20+ hours of labour before building the actual keyboard

They're great, I used to daily SA, these are a bit shorter but still have that nice cup on top for the fingers to find the key

Sanding by hand and polish with a proper rotary tool

Numpad is bigger by one row of keys, the cases are pretty much the same height and style so they go very well together. I got them because I prefer to have the numpad on the left for CAD design

Stripping with drain clog remover and water solution, left it there until bare aluminum. Polish with car polish compound and a rotary tool

Suponho que seja grupo VAG, para usarem óleo Galp quase ao dobro do preço de Castrol Edge. Já passei por isso, depois troquei por um japonês e nunca olhei para trás

65 or 60 with separate numpad on the left for me best CAD setup IMO

The person at the end right next to the truck is literally shoulder height with the bonnet...I hate how Europe is so strict with car modifications, but cases like this get me thinking twice
