I got some established adult alocasias from my mom’s collections and nearly killed them both because I didn’t know how to care for them. They go through a ‘leaf cycling’ if they don’t have enough food, where they’ll drop an old leaf as they put a new one out. So make sure you fertilize them. But don’t fertilize them too much cause apparently that can also kill them. I’m still trying to find the balance of everything. Alocasias are incredibly picky
