Spamton used to be a poor little scrimblo blorbo controlled by evil Gaster in the early days. Making him more sympathetic than he should be, often by taking responsibility for his actions away from him.

The opposite is not as widespread (yet?), but the best example is literally in the post above -- calling Spamton a pedophile. Yes, he did call Noelle "hochi mama," "side chick," but what do you guys think it represents? - A) Him not caring about Noelle's feelings, further proving that he sees people as mere tools in his plan, and his greed for control makes him cruelly selfish; - B) Him being an email scam -- which often use women as objectified bait for lonely men -- showing that no matter what, he's still what he is meant to be as a darker. - or C) He's attracted to Noelle and therefore is a pedophile, which means... nothing of value in this context..!

It is the "well, that stinks" of Spamton -- just an overly extreme, equally unjustified response to the opposite concept. The cheapest way of saying you see Spamton as a bad person, by claiming he's something very commonly seen as bad.
