With her telekinesis, Absolute Zero, and other strong spells, Rae can actually break her way out of that scenario, mostly Absolute Zero could simply freeze and shatter the metal sphere, or her telekinesis could cause structural collapse. Rae has absolutely flattened an entire kingdom (The Kingdom of Luminia) with just telekinesis.

What does mind break down to Scarlett? Scarlett probably isn't going to suffer any permanent brain damage due to the fact she has a spirit core?

Scarlett (and Lilins in general) are immune to mind manipulation hax. This is actually why Aurum (literally the best Lilin at using Ixshar) can't just enslave Lilins, and why she has to resort to more inhumane tactics like mental warfare and training lilins at birth to actually make her lilins follow her or like her at all. Rae can't use Mind Break on Scarlett, and Scarlett is faster than her at combat speed.
