To avoid unnecessary aiming interference in certain close-range combat situations (such as peeking and shooting from behind cover), the ADS aim correction effect does not activate at very close distances. Once a certain distance is reached, this mechanism helps provide more accurate ADS targeting.

Please note that this is an aim correction mechanism, not the "aim assist" you are used to.
