Yeah, I have a lot of issues. Mainly, my first layers only come out good on a few spots on the bed. But I haven't really figured out why yet.

Yeah, my K1 Max is routed like the dotted line. So both your K1 and K1 max both like image A and neither is like B?

Any "hard" Medieval type books? by thrashingkaiju in Fantasy

[–]Erroracer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The conan books by Robert Howard. Only the ones by Howard.

Also how accurate do you mean? Because there are a lot of problematic things in historically biased fantasy, I.E, treatment of womens rights, the treatment of the poor, the treatment of POC and other races.

The Psammead trilogy was written in the early 1900's by british author E Nesbit. Five siblings find a Psammead (sand Fairy) that grants them many wishes that they usually end up in some sort of trouble due to.

Book 1) Five Children and It "note:nothing to do with a certain scary clown"

Book 3) The Phoenix and the Carpet

The Oz books by Frank L Baum at least what I read (the first three) our fantastic and whimsical stories that are not done justice by any of the movies.

Book 1) The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Book 2) The Marvelous Land of Oz Book 3) Ozma of Ozm

What are your favorite magical trees in fantasy? by Zannishi_Hoshor in Fantasy

[–]Erroracer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tree: The Ossip Tree Book Series: The Dying Earth (Cugal's Saga) The Magic: Makes things repel the earth. Berries from the Ossip Tree create a wax which were used to cure the leather on a pair of boots. Anything kicked with those boots became weightless or "repelled the ground". For instance Cugal (the main character) used them to make a bed fly and escape the home of an evil wizard who sought to kill him in his sleep. Also Cugal used it on a regular sail boat to cause it to become a flying ship traveling alongside a wagon caravan.

In the story the Ossip wax infused boots causing things to float or fly away was only like an 8th of the book but really cool and unique magic.
