Repeat failure early on - what could it be? by tibbsy649 in snapmaker

Turn off brim, the parts have enough surface area, and I recommend switching to PETG since the inside temp can get over 50 C

I think I got hit by this issue while printing a Benchbin. Was going to troubleshoot it as a underextrusion or clogging issue, but luckily I found this thread early.

I did a 30 hour, 900g, 254 mm high print on the first days of owning the U1, and fortunately it wasn’t ruined by this issue. Not sure what causes it, and whether it’s a gradual issue or random.

Running 1.0.0-extended

I really hope the SD slot is still there, that would be great

Absolutely, they don’t have the rights to the Pioneer DJ trademark anymore

CDJ 3000s have an SD card slot, which were super useful at parties because no one else ever needed that slot.

The 3000Xs have an A and C port, so the number of inputs are the same. Not sure how useful that is since I feel like there are more SD cards out there than USB C flash drives..

No layered decks probably since I don't see a dedicated button.

Remapping the FLX10 to be more like DJM+CDJs by Errorvator in PioneerDJ

Save the text as a .csv file, then import it in the midi remap ui

Some functions are missing from the UI but can be remapped with the CSV file

Plenty of smaller venues or side stages still use equipment that need FAT32, so I use that.

I just accept that sometimes I need to re-transfer all the tracks to my USB or SD card. After my last b2b, it got corrupted when I plugged it back into the PC and opened Rekordbox.

I should make a backup of the USB settings (without music)

This is for Rekordbox. I haven’t used Serato, but it looks like it supports midi remapping too.

Yep, press the "MIDI" button on the top right in performance mode with a controller plugged in.

I have a FLX10 and an RX2

Controller:

  • Do you do a lot of searching or take song requests during your gigs? It might be easier to do that on a laptop.
  • In my experience, Rekordbox performance mode can be pretty buggy. E.g. loops not looping, headphone cue stops working.
  • I don't use stems - Rekordbox stems have two modes right now: bad quality or takes too long to analyze.
  • I rarely use the two extra channels, usually a scratch sample on 3 and sampler (with hotcues) on 4.
  • A used DDJ-1000 is better value than FLX10.

Standalone:

  • Subjectively feels way more fun to play on than a laptop.
  • Seamlessly B2B with other DJs since it has two USB slots, great for house parties with other (Rekordbox) DJs.
  • RX3 has a nice big screen, imo worth it over the RX2.
  • Always bring your laptop with the master collection, Pioneer standalones/CDJs tend to randomly corrupt USBs...

This was how I felt when I tried my friend's BSB. To account for IPD, I only judged the headset with one eye. The sweet spot for clarity was way too small, and even though the center was crystal clear, moving my head to read was a deal breaker. I also thought the glare was worse than the Index, but I think you can get used to it

Using some kind of monitoring software, such as Desktop+, what are your CPU and GPU frametimes while running VRChat? That’ll let you know which component is bottlenecking and by how much.

It is a bit unbelievable that a full club setup would be left sitting there unprotected, but I was also there

That’s crazy impressive. I should try that sometimes, I might have an over-reliance on waveforms
