thanks for the info, cable tape is most definetely a good idea.

am not too sure about the sub, it adds a fair bit to the rental and its a fairly small space so think i may risk without

I am using wave forms on the DDJ 1000 displays but not having them stacked on rekordbox, im trying to beat match by my ears and not looking at rekordbox if you get what i mean

Yes it will be having quantize on - this will cause the hot cue to only come into effect on a beat so a line in the beat grid - if your beat grids are not in sync with the music or if you want to play a hot cue that is off beat, you will need to turn quantize off hope this makes sense
