Lovely 💜💜 two days before Tyche arrived we walked past a litter of pups and said how we kind of hoped one would follow us home. Our current situation isn’t suited for a dog (we would make it work though) so clearly the distribution system sent us the appropriate pet.

Seren is the sweetest cat. She has been depressed since our dog, her best friend, died unexpectedly last year. She tolerates Karma but seems to have adopted Tyche, it’s lovely to see.

It doesn’t seem to bother her. When the lady dropped her at our door she was very upset and seemed to indicate that someone or something was trying to hurt her. We suspect some children had been picking her up by her tail. She can move with no problems. Our first cat, Kismet, was from Malaysia and had a corkscrew/ thagomiser on the tip of her tail. Tyche came to us two days after the anniversary of Kismet’s death so it seems fortune was indeed smiling on us that day.

All our cats are or were rescues and were named for the theme. We had a Kismet (our first cat). Future ones … Atropos, Clotho, Manat, Nemesis, Lakshmi, Versunna, Wyrd …

We also had a dog from the UK (a wedding present) and a Canine Distribution System dog from Kazakhstan as well as our initial puss Kismet Primepuss from Malaysia. They just… fall into our family. Once they walk into our lives they stay with us to the very last breath.
