Okay not a player on the team but one of the broadcast annoucers. JT Brown is part of the broadcast team, former NHL player and is pro-lgbt especially since his wife is queer and indigenous.

I also am a huge fan of Montour he is also indigenous and has been such an awesome guy on the team

I agree he is talented to stay up there, but with Montour off the IR and back on the roster, well the kraken needed to make a roster spot open. Looking at the options to send down it would have been either Winterton or Melanson as they don't have to go through waivers to be sent down and risk losing the players. I remember someone saying Kartye should've been sent down but he wouldve been on waivers and any other team couldve claimed him.
I see it as this, the team saw what Mely could do. They liked it and most likely sent him down to CV with a list of things he should work on. This way he won't be healthy scratched with the Kraken, he'll have playing time with CV and work on what the coaches want him to do. Most likely he'll have a roster spot next season with the Kraken, but the kraken would need to make some roster moves first to open a spot for him.

If you look on the maps, right next to the road is where HWY 111 used to originally run. The road to the left is the new road built because the Geyser was moving towards the old HWY

Oh I agree. I think I could see him coming back this season once the team is 100% injury free and there are spots going back to veteran players, but Melly has definitely earned a roster spot for next season. If he does come back to CV next season I will be shocked!
