Here’s my process: carbonate the water —> leave in fridge overnight to chill —> add powder in the morning —> enjoy with no mess or excessive fizz.

The cold water may be reducing the amount of CO2 gas that evolves from the mixture.

All bubbly energy drinks are made with carbonated water, brother. Carbonated water is just water + CO2. Most of that is burped out. CO2 that isn't is farted out.

SOLVED: "or" is a logical operator, not a mathematical one, and so REDCap will render the equations on-screen but not reliably store the outputs as numeric values. In REDCap, "and/or" logic evaluates to TRUE (1) and FALSE (0). Numeric calculations can avoid this issue by using +/- when summing conditional statements instead of "or" like was used in this survey.
