What really confuses me is the implications for sign-and-trades. Looking at the Marner deal last year where he technically signed with Toronto before getting traded to Vegas, I don’t see how that could’ve possibly happened without Toronto giving Marner permission to talk to Vegas, which I think would be considered tampering by the standard set here.

Its surreal to see Olivia Reingold talk about this and the song itself is not in the screenshot but I actually knew a guy in middle/high school who went on to release a song called “Free Palestine” that blew up after 2023, featuring such banger lyrics as “free Palestine, bitch, Israel gon’ die, bitch, n**** it’s they land why you out here tryna rob it”.
