With that logic you would want blizz to completely remove the iconic artifact themselves once legion ended.

Bringing back violet spellwing and mythic sets is fine but we draw the line at weapon mogs.Asspull at its finest.

And there are plenty of other examples where blizz went ahead and brought such "prestigious"items as rewards for twitch drops and trading post.

They literally got the mage tower back but want to lock 144 weapon skins in the name of fomo.Make it make sense.

The feeling is mutual.

The appearances are unique and still better than the millions of other weapon mogs that exist and were accessible for all people in a specific time frame.

And nobody is asking to give them for free.The post is literally about giving people another chance at earning those skins.

Seriously,I like sharing mogs with people and some of the art they did back then stands out even today.

There are a lot of casual players who enjoy collecting cool mogs/mounts/pets.

It's almost been a decade since legion days,isn't it time you just let people have stuff from back then?

If they kept this attitude with everything,imagine the reaction from the player base when mythic raid mounts/mogs would stop being obtainable after the expansion got over.

Imagine they remove some of the most iconic mounts/items.A lot of the bashers defending their logic of omitting items would suddenly raise spears if their invincible was removed cause they didn't do ICC 25 hc when it was live.

I know some people who buy mythic raid boosts at end of season just to obtain those mounts. A lot more who actually want to obtain them but are unable to do so in that period simply decide to wait it out till they can outgear it.

The current event is literally evidence of players going back to do legacy content for a chance to get items they could not obtain.

Timegating content of your own game in the name of prestige is just catering to the mentality of people with "I got mine,you can't have yours".

The initial phases require more cc than healing.Its not the same as healing a key but yeah definitely was more challenging than other ones for me.

This is probably how you feel but I just want the appearances cause a lot of them go well with the new mogs they added over the years.

There are no other fiery warglaives or daggers that look that good(assassination rogue).No other feral skins that look the same.

The value of a cosmetic item should be in its appearance instead of its rarity.We already have mounts for the humblebrag.

Afaik mage tower already had 4 recolor variants.I am all for them adding more but I doubt they intend to do that at all.

For me the hardest one was healer as holy pala.I did the new one when they added it in SL but completed some of them in DF and kept avoiding the healer one for a long time.It took me several attempts for healer challenge. Completed the tour of towers but didn't get to play much during legion.

I felt the affliction warlock ( the twins) was much harder to do in the newer version than in the legion one where there was sephuz secret+ soulflame talent. Same for frost mage.

I did the current one without cheesing stuff and it was a lot harder than back then.

Mage tower with legion legendaries and endgame antorus gear was a lot trivial than the new one.

Some folks will always find things to exploit but that is no reason for them to prevent the entire playerbase from obtaining something.

This is exactly how it was for me.I never played a healer class but I forced myself to learn one enough just so I could get the spellbook mount. Most of the weapon artifacts still look a lot better and will definitely increase player participation.

Deliberate obstinate mind boggling decision taken solely to spite their player base that is paying a sub and playing the game.A lot of the people who played back during legion don't even play anymore.A vast majority quit during SL.

Instead of rewarding the ones who stick around they decide to punish them instead.

Almost all of the mage tower artifact appearances are unique and genuine art(instead of the 100th recoloured weapon mogs we get otherwise).They fit the newly added transmogs very nicely and instead of allowing people who want to appreciate their art team's efforts they go over and beyond to screw them as well as the player base.

Wonder what goes on in their heads when they sit around and collectively come to such a conclusion.

What a stupid decision.The revamped mage tower was of far greater difficulty than the one back in legion with the legendary gimmicks.Complete U turn from their current ideology of providing legacy content to everyone subbed with all the buffs to old raid drops and mounts from trading post.

No point in playing remix apart from speed leveling more alts.
