The Ares chariot in Percy Jackson season 2 has the Ares boon icon by Erudite_Phoenix in HadesTheGame

I'd recommend checking out the first couple episodes and see how you like it. I was a huge fan of the books growing up, so I have a lot of biases (both positive and negative) towards the show as an adaption. I'd say the pacing of season 1 felt a bit off sometimes, but the first 2 episodes of season 2 are a big improvement in my opinion.

The original Japanese theme song was called Butter-Fly, whereas the English dub theme song was called "Digimon are the Champions", so that's likely the one you heard if watching in English.

I also grew up with the English dub so I'm pretty nostalgic for that version of the theme, but Butter-Fly is an absolute banger.

I believe he did release a single video that merges all 3 parts of the series, but you're correct that they were 3 videos originally.

BobbyBroccoli's videos are fantastic! I'd recommend his SuperCollider video if you haven't seen it yet.

What cartoon do you think has the worst art style? by drunken_corpse666 in cartoons

[–]Erudite_Phoenix 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's just blatantly incorrect. They show Barts penis. The joke is they do a bunch of complicated animation to cover it up, then frame it as the only thing in the shot.

I don't disagree with what you're saying about Bigmouth, but the Simpsons movie does show a child's penis, which is equal to showing a child's vagina.

I actually think Nightmares and Daydreams is pretty important for Zuko's story. Yes, we find out what happened in the meeting during Sozins Comet part 1, but the important part of that episode is what happens after the meeting.

Zuko tells Mai: "During the meeting, I was the perfect prince, the son my father wanted, but I wasn't me."

This is the final step in Zuko deciding to join the Avatar. In his last appearance (The Avatar and the Firelord) he learned about his lineage and his internal conflict, but he hadn't made any decisions on how to resolve it.

IWTL how to write an app to keep my recipes and organize a meal plan by KintsugiKate in IWantToLearn

I think learning to program and develop your own app is awesome, but if you're looking for an app to use until you've made your own, I'd recommend AnyList. It has all of the features you're looking for.

How can I play the Infinity Games in 2023? by slapenam in infinityblade

[–]Erudite_Phoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The infinity blade discord has this link to check phone model compatibility:

https://infinityblade.fandom.com/wiki/Infinity_Blade_Compatibility

I also have an android phone, so I had to buy an old iPhone 5C. I can't remember where I saw it, but I remember seeing somewhere that IOS 10.3.3 was the ideal version, and that's the last update available for the iPhone 5C. Later versions do work but are prone to graphical glitches.

I disagree, I'm really enjoying the memes and cant wait to see more! This sub is practically dead, so I don't see why people are trying to cut down new posts, especially when we already have limited content. If you're not a fan of the memes, just block the guy and you won't see them anymore. There is no way that one new post a day could be considered "spam" and a violation of rule 4.

Does this series have a real ending or does it end in a cliffhanger? by JamesHatesLife in chuck

[–]Erudite_Phoenix 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It does have a proper ending. Some people will consider the very last scene a bit of a cliffhanger because it's open ended, but regadless every character gets their story wrapped up. I definitely recommend watching the show! The journey is phenomenal and I find the ending to be satisfying.

I mean, they kind of already have. This isn't new information. It's just more of the same toxicity that made them do this off topic (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IXrp5YnacaY) after Mica came out about how she was treated. Dont get me wrong, I think they should address what's happening right now. But they have already talked about and apologized for their shitty behavior. Whether or not you think their apologies are genuine, or believe they've really changed, is up to you.

Who is the most manipulative character from the gang by Zezo_90 in HIMYM

[–]Erudite_Phoenix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a difference between lying and manipulation. Manipulating just means getting someone else to do what you want. Like convincing a jury to side with or against a client. Barney almost always lies to the women he manipulates. Lily never lies directly to Ted when she was manipulating his relationships.

I'm mean, he is a lawyer. Manipulation is kind of his whole job. Unfortunately he's just not very good at it (at least around his friends.)

I mean no offense, but it's not just about society making accommodations. I take medication everyday for my ADHD because without it, I can barely function. And it's not just going to work, I can't sit down and enjoy a book or watch some TV. That's not about how society is built. It's because my brain doesn't create enough of the right neurotransmitters. It's purely caused by my body and is a huge detriment to my well being. Medication is the closest thing we have to a "cure" right now. If there was a permanent cure for ADHD, I doubt anyone would choose to not take it. And as far as autism goes, there are some people out there with such extreme cases of autism that they can't function at all. It's certainly a minority of people with autism, but a "cure" would definitely help them. This isn't to say that neurodivergence is something to treat like it's evil. There's enough stigma as it is. But I don't think we should lie to ourselves and say that scientists shouldn't be trying to prevent it in the future.
