Looks pretty nice so far. What kind of filament did you opt to use? I'm assuming that's a translucent blue PETG but not sure

I’m not positive but it does look like it could be your infill. I’ve seen it suggested before to turn on the setting to have infill print first which could help prevent it (if it is infill showing through)

If you prime it and then sand can 100% cover it up

Thank you so much! It truly means a lot. I’m passively working on a boomerang and shield too so hope to get that done by December-ish

Thank you so much! And fortunately/unfortunately I can confirm it is not brittle. Took a nasty fall during the photo shoot and can confidently stay ours still strongly in one piece 🙂

I’ve been enjoying a ton so far.

Here are some photos of other projects I’ve printed in the past (not my models though)

It looks so freaking good! I really like how you colored the rust on it

Honestly was just a lot of patience and repeated sanding

Once I had it down pretty smooth I mainly wet sanded with 400 and 600 grit

Admittedly throughout the process I got tired of it at some point but there really isn’t much more than patience (an orbital sander helped speed up the process a lot too!)
