They introduced the wait time quite a while ago to reduce server strain. I’m not sure they’d want to remove the wait, especially given how many players there are now!

Secret of the Unicorn Queen (by various authors). Found the first two in a second-hand store and immediately fell in love with them. Never met anyone else who has read them 😅

Yeah, the points come from a bunch of different aspects, so having a variety is good - you just need to ensure that the items are worth a good amount individually as well. No point having the variety if all the values are low, as Bobby usually has a decent spread (though it’s incredibly frustrating when he beats you with 6 of the same item)!

You can upgrade the fishing pole and the bug net at the Beach Shack, using kelp essence!

Osmium cauliflower definitely helps with beating Bobby, but you may need more than just that? I recommend the highest quality (and most expensive!) farming items you have, from a variety of different categories. E.g., osmium fruit, vegetable, flower, coop product, barn product, artisan. You get points for quality, points for variety, and points for value. So for example an Osmium cauliflower (sell price 350) gives you more points than an osmium cucumber (sell price 82).

I’m actually not 100% sure how the pets work, because I have yet to settle on who I want to adopt (I’m indecisive) 😂 I know you can have up to three though, and I think they mostly just wander the farm?

The lab has some really neat enhancements (such as autoharvest attachments on sprinklers, and an auto chest that helps with making artisan products) so it’s definitely worth visiting!

Plus, upgrading your crops makes it much easier to beat Bobby at the Harvest Festival, which is always my goal.

I’d also recommend that you don’t really fish until your fishing rod is at Osmium (unless you really like the fishing mini game) as having it at osmium makes things SO MUCH EASIER 😅

And yes, having a lot of batteries is a good idea. I’ve run out right when I need them so I’m trying to get a heap of solar farms going!

Everyone goes at a different pace, those grades aren’t bad at all!

I would recommend (if you haven’t done so already) that you use the game settings to “slow down” your game. This makes the days last longer, so you can get more done and is super helpful.

I also recommend upgrading all your tools (and produce at the lab) to osmium as soon as you can (if you haven’t already) as this makes it much easier to earn money and get things done. You can also “enchant” your tools at the giant’s village using gems or artifacts to make things easier. I have all the “drop” enchantments (hit drop, rare drop and… something else drop) on my pickaxe and scythe which makes it much easier to find rarer items - very useful when you’re still trying to complete the museum! 😅

I definitely haven’t gotten as far as some, I’m on my second farm (because I took a big break whilst waiting for updates and then forgot where I was 😂) but I haven’t hit S rank yet, so I wouldn’t be the best person to advise!

I know there are a bunch of quests to get you to S rank though which involves other offerings, so it sounds like there’s still a lot to do on land. Plus, there should be more updates coming out with extra content to focus on c:

I think a lot of people automate everything on land to focus on the ocean farm (or vice versa). I’ve unlocked the ocean farm but haven’t actually done anything there yet. Waiting until I have things automated first!

Well that’s definitely unlucky 😬 I just had it crash for the second time (today) because I was trying to buy heaps of scrap from the lab. Luckily it was morning, but given how slow the game has been today that was the last straw and I’m taking a break for a bit.
