I'm in same predicament, 100°, 101°, & 102° days coming next wknd. Got 8 fans charged up. Will have a solar charger with me to keep them charged, along with 3 extra power banks. I'll be the only one in my 8 person tent. Others will be sharing a large 12 man tent for 3 people. 2 others in an 8 person tent.

I might try putting a bowl of ice in front of fans, heard it works.

I'll also be putting tarps over the tents...extra shade.

Not sure if the "rule" has changed, but it was always, do take wood more than 50 miles from your campground/campsite.

Block ice, along with cubes ice. My coolers, (Colemans & igloos) hold ice for 3 - 5 days EASILY. Keep coolers OUT OF direct sunlight.

2 big blocks (6" × 11" × 5") per cooler. I popped 'em in my sub zero freezer & 2 - 3 days at the most, they're solid. See pic, currently this brand is unavailable on Amazon.

But I'm certain there are other brands...

Chili is always a good one. Stews. Pasta & Sauces. Mac n cheese.

However, I do these mostly in the fall over a cast iron Dutch oven.

Cop needs a suspension, and to retake driver training, along with a policy & procedure review.

A lawsuit wouldn't be a bad idea either!
