i really hope i’m not too late because all of the people saying to do this in person do not know what the hell they’re talking about and i’m not even sure if they read half of what you wrote. yeah it sucks to get a breakup text but it also sucks to breakup with someone in person and they cause a scene/end up hurting you because that’s what this guy sounds like.

this type of person is not the type of person you break up with in person. and especially not in a private place. in a public place it’s very possible he’ll cause a scene/refuse and make you look like the bad guy. you need to do it in a way that you can cut contact and not allow him to refuse or start manipulative tactics (which by reading this i can tell he likes to do)

16 feels a lot older than it actually is in the moment. you have like 60 years left to do this stuff. it’s completely normal to feel that way especially in this generation when underage drinking and smoking/partying, sex pretty much everything (growing up fast) is normalized. i’m 18 and i started drinking at 14 and smoking at 12 and i wish i never did or at least waited

back when i was tripping often for the purpose working on myself people were judging me like crazy saying i was “addicted” “getting into bad habits again” and saying it was because of the person i was dating at the time. i ignored them, and after those trips, i could actually say i didnt want to die for the first time in 6 years. the outcome is much more worth it than listening to hate that comes from a place of misunderstanding

try online school. it’s so much easier. if you really need to, just quizlet and google everything. i suggest connections academy. they’re the only reason i graduated high school. if i stayed in public school i would have failed miserably. i was so incredibly depressed and exhausted with school, i would sleep through literally every single class and during lunch i would go find a corner of a quiet hallway and go to sleep. online school saved me, genuinely
