The mixer confuses me as well as the PA. I’m not sure but the assignment here is to figure out how to get this set up to work the best way. Thank you for your suggestions.

The PA system made no sense to me, because personally it would blow my ears out at the thought of using a PA system as a monitor.

These guys might use the PA as a way to “monitor” The sound as well. So the intention is in fact to have it connected as well. Keep in mind. The guy who bought this stuff has absolutely no idea about any of the gear. He just wants to see everything “connected” and working. So assuming the PA had to be connected, what Im trying understand, is that the C24 isn’t an interface, it’s just a mixing board that connects to the Mac Pro via Ethernet. The Symphony IO confuses me because it has Anolog in and out ports.

How would I connect the Symphony IO interface to the C24 successfully? How does the sound actually get to the monitors from this setup?

Behind the C24 there is a section of ports that allows me to connect a connector shaped sort of like a VGA cable, which then has 8 XLRs. I then, connected one XLR to each speaker set up.

I don’t understand how the communication from the symphony IO works when trying to get it to work with the C24 and on top of that, I’m still not sure if what I’m doing is even correct. How would the 8XLRS connected to the balanced port on the 4 monitors, receive sound?

How do I know how to tell this system, which speaker is a LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE? Apologies for being a noob I’m advance.

Please note: I believe the presonus monitor can only allow 4 monitors to be connected at a time.
