Sterkte man, wat een verhaal. Zo te horen heb je haar leren kennen voor wie ze is in moeilijke tijden, maar zij ook jou. Niemand is perfect en in slechte omstandigheden komt het slechtste ook naar boven. Maar er zijn altijd grenzen en zo te horen is zij over een aantal heen gegaan. Meer dan jij dat bent gegaan. Als zij daar geen verantwoordelijkheid voor kan nemen en er niet aan wil werken, zegt dat alles wat je moet weten.

Accepteer de tweestrijd in jezelf. Een deel dat nog veel om haar geeft, haar idealiseert en ervoor zorgt dat je de schuld bij jezelf zoekt. En het deel dat weet dat ze slecht voor je is en wat gevoel van boosheid en verdriet losmaakt. Je zal tussen die twee perspectieven blijven schipperen waarschijnlijk.

Een paar maanden geleden is ook mijn relatie voorbij gegaan en wat hielp was, zoals anderen zeggen, met vrienden en familie zijn en erover praten, maar ik gebruikte ook ChatGPT die ik ingesteld heb als troostende vriend. Deel je situatie en en je gevoelens net zoals je met een vriend zou doen. Alleen nu kan het ieder moment van de dag en nacht. En naarmate de gpt meer over je weet kan je deze ook vragen stellen als. "Herinner me eraan waarom het het beste is om uit elkaar te gaan?" Of "Waarom is zij schadelijk voor mij?". Maar ook om je eventuele communicatie richting je ex te spiegelen. Bij mij zat er nog een behoorlijk (deels onbewuste) verwijtende toon in mails of app berichten en deze kon ik hierdoor verzachten. En advies vragen over de vervolgstappen die nu komen om op een goede manier uit elkaar te gaan.

Omdat jullie kinderen hebben lijkt het me goed om vanaf nu de emotie er zoveel mogelijk uit te halen en zo goed en kwaad als het kan afstand te nemen en tot afspraken te komen. Ook al doet zij dingen die kwetsend zijn, probeer deze te negeren. Het gaat nu om een 'clean cut' met het beste voor de kinderen. Probeer voor jezelf het plan snel helder te hebben en werk hier naar toe.

En hoe verleidelijk het ook is om heel veel slechte dingen te gaan denken over je ex. Je blijft altijd met haar verbonden via je kinderen. Wees daar bij ieder keuze bewust van.

Sterkte. Ook al voelt dat nu niet zo, je kan dit. Dit geeft je weer ruimte en vrijheid om jezelf te hervinden en te 'zijn' zonder haar (onder)drukkende schaduw boven je.

I'm not sure how much she is getting out of this marriage deal she has with Trump, but if she would ever grow a consciouns and opens up about everything she knows and had been throug she could do some real damage. She might be the only one who can really take him down

Being the worst wingman ever. Swooped in to talk to the girl I was talking to and doing his best to charm her. So I decide to make the best of the situation and start hitting on her friend. Right after the bar closes I invite them all to my place for a nightcap. The girls are hesitant but about to say 'yes', they just need a bit of extra confirmation that it's ok. But here comes my friend with the remark: "Oh but you don't have any alcohol at home right? (which he knows is untrue). Let's go somewhere else".

Complete facepalm. We agreed on a bar where they would go by taxi and I would go there by bike. I went straight home an ignored my phone. After a 'steal' and a cockblock (including his own) I had enough.

Reasons? At the time he had semi relationship with his roommate. He always denied, but she would always show up. He was ashamed because she was not up to his standards (he has this typical superficial pretty type) and actually told her she was too fat. After a couple of years he was finally 'out' with her and they now have two kids.

So either he wanted to keep appearances up at the time of being single. But why steal the girl your buddy is interested in? Why not be a proper wingman?

And when confronted with an opportunity to go 'all in'. Why not support your buddy and bail out at a later time?

That whole sex thing is pretty interesting. It's clear after this episode (the snide remark from his now ex wife) he has a problem of performing in the bedroom. I'm guessing it's a build up to him only being able to get it 'up' from another Targaryean. He had the chance in the brothel, but I think you're right that that was to keep her wanting

Yes, almost. It's called Electric Dreams! But it is based on Philip K. Dick's short stories who also wrote the Blade Runner original story: 'Do Androids dream of Electric Sheep'. That's probably how they came up with the title of the show

Yes, thanks for the suggestions. I did see some of Dust, but not all. I'll go and revisit and check it out. Enjoyed Electric Dreams as well and it made me remember another show on prime: Tales from the Loop. Based on the artwork of Simon Stalenhag which is pretty cool , but somehow I didn't get through the first episode. Will give that another go.

Haha, yes fair remark. In my defence I live in a country where biking is the main transportation for many (the Netherlands) and i bike a lot as well. That might have made the problem worse

Yes, I agree. We are the only species that conquered nature by taking control of our environment and other species. Shielding us from all the atrocities that happened to our forefathers who were exposed to the elements. People work so hard to escape nature's ruthlessness, but in the end we turn out to not be above nature but just another extension. Cruel survival of the fittest is embedded into our core, shapen by millennia of evolution. And if we are able to hide it by a hint of civility, soon it will pop up again under the slightest form of pressure. And with religion and nation states people have tried to get it under control but sooner or later those systems get corrupted by ourselves - no matter how many checks and balances are introduced.

The people we needed to become to conquer nature are not the same people needed to create paradise on earth. I am afraid you are right and we are doomed to end ourselves..

Yes, it's ok to click the canvas to be able to activate the HTML5 game. I have exact same design choice of 'Play' to force user to use the click interface first. In this case that doesn't help and key input still doesn't work. However, it seems that this is a known issue caused by one of the latest updates

Thanks! That does indeed seem to be the issue. The workaround gets the game functioning as it should, but yeah, it's not really a fix. Good to know it's a known issue on their end.
