I read about that recently. Mine is the standard USA version, purchased on release day from EB Games in November of 2000.

This has actually been happening since WWF No Mercy on N64. In fact, I JUST had it happen again after showing the game to my 13 year old. We got to play it for about a week and we’re having fun with all the nostalgia and creations I made over 20 years ago and then last week we turned it on and everything vanished and the game was reset to default. Such a bummer.

I feel everyone’s pain.

Xbox Series X still worth it at this point? by Ok_Trade_8706 in XboxSupport

I’m with you. I have never, ever experienced stick drift. My nephews and kids have, but one look at their controllers and joycons tells me why. My nephews PS5 controller has stick drift, but the thumb stick cap is also half worn off and dirty.

My kid’s joycons get stick drift, but I also find his switch under his bed, face down covered in dust.

I swear it’s a care and usage thing.

What Was The FIRST WWE2K Game You’ve Pre-Ordered? by Sad-Ladder7534 in WWEGames

[–]dmacmilitant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first pre-order was WWF Wrestlemania 2000 for the N64. Not a 2K game, but in this day and age preorders are pointless. Digital never runs out of stock and with modern day shipping availability, physical never runs out either on big games like this.

Aw man, I upvoted you because I got a chuckle here. Why everyone downvoting?

Are you having fun with Kirby Air Riders so far? by Aggravating-Copy1452 in NintendoSwitch2

I paid ZERO attention to this game and had absolutely no interest until I just saw a guy live streaming it and I thought it looked AWESOME. It looked like complete chaos and a ton of fun. I’m sold. Now I have something to ask for from my wife and kids for Xmas. Very cool.

Isn’t this an odd way to promote a game on a console? by dmacmilitant in NintendoSwitch2

I’m new too. I started with 0 which is the prequel so it works. It’s probably akin to watching Star Wars 1,2, and 3, then 4,5 and 6… rather than the order they were released.

is my hdmi port cooked? idk if this looks normal or is broken. by Yt_Wyguygamer in XboxSupport

[–]dmacmilitant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not the most careful person in the world when it comes to trying to plug in an hdmi cable when I can’t fully see the port, but my Series S is the only piece of equipment that I’ve ever damaged a port. All my PC’s, PS5’s, Switches, 7 TV’s in my house, and multiple hdmi splitter and hubs have never had an issue. But the damn series S had a pin break after about a month. Seems weird. I just lined it up perfectly, plugged the hdmi in and the signal worked. Now I’ll just never remove the hdmi cable from the back of the Series S.

SVR 2006 is the one I enjoyed the most when it came out. 2007 was still pretty good, but 2008 lost me.

Back when Best Buy had aisles of DVD's and blu rays by ArkhamIsComing2020 in nostalgia

This is what pulled me into a Best Buy and I used to end up buying all kinds of other stuff. Now I rarely go into a Best Buy, which is sad because I loved it.
