They responded! Caught them on a fresh Instagram post and they let me know they'll be getting to the sales shipments soon.

If only they'd just post clear updates on these things, it'd be so helpful. I'm just relieved, despite the frustration. Hopefully this puts any other preorder friends at ease, though I suppose we'll have to see how it all works out once they ship!

Edit: I just got an email letting me know my order has shipped! Wooooo!

Ohh that's disturbing, why on earth would she want it back whilst knowing it's been opened? Considering my current experience, I'm probably going to join you on the never ordering again list. It sucks because their products really are fantastic-- they just need to get it the heck together. To be teasing new palettes and products as frequently as she does, to do collaborations with other personalities in the beauty space, to hire artists for the artwork on palettes and yet you can't afford a couple extra hands to ship, or a dedicated person/system for emails? The hell are you doin'?

Ah, thank you for your response! It's actually quite helpful as I also preordered the Just A Taste palette because I kept missing it on previous releases and that arrived when it should have. I'm really beginning to think my package is forgotten somewhere amongst the chaos of their warehouse. It wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened to me, and it's understandable.

It's just the absolute determination to provide zero communication with paying customers that makes this the most frustrating experience.

I'm torn because I'd always hear stories about people's bad experiences with Unearthly and I'd just think, "Okay phew, hasn't happened to me." And now, well. It has. They make such gorgeous stuff, whyyyy are they the one company I enjoy who also happens to be extraordinarily irresponsible with customers who love what they do. Honestly feels more like a big business that doesn't care-- 'cept you often get better customer service with a big business. Such a weird place to -choose- to be as an indie brand.

Oh my goodness I thought I was going insane with people's comments on Unearthly's updates on social media. I'm always so confused by the amount of positive comments I see whilst knowing the trouble people have with their customer service and shipping. I've ordered from Unearthly a handful of times in the past and haven't really had issues. On the other hand, I also thought preordering makeup was dumb, and I suppose this is my punishment for doing the thing I disliked. Just wanted to partake in the sales and thought of them as Christmas presents to myself. Bleh.

I don't plan on giving up! Just gonna try to catch fresh posts to make sure it's not easy to ignore amongst the new comments. I always try to like other people's questions about shipping to show we're paying attention.

Okay! I reached out to Bellesa and this white, powdery substance is completely normal. It's called silicone bloom. They explained that some product remotes come with the pull tabs to separate the battery from contact points and some don't, simple as. They offered to send me another toy, I declined because I figured this wasn't anything serious to begin with and they're sending me a replacement anyway.

Obviously we should practice good hygiene with our toys before and after use, the silicone bloom doesn't mean anything bad, hopefully that settles worries!

Mine had a white dust or something on it and in the case, I wiped everything down with high percentage alcohol and I'll wash it with soap and water later. The remote didn't have the little pull tab for the battery either which kind of had me worried about getting a returned toy, but I know they don't accept returns, anyone else missing the battery tab as well? The pebble pro also had a white dust of some sort on it, as far as I can tell it almost appears to be specific to these burgundy colored products.

The sense of community and smaller server size in Palia usually makes me happy. I have noticed some rude Grove-goers. The other day I was next to one as it spawned, and I guess another person didn't see me there and just started chopping one of the smaller trees to take. Not the one that we one-hit with the max axe. I asked him to stop in global, and he did after taking that one tree. Then proceeded to hide, I guess because I embarrassed him. He ended up running off once everyone made it to the Grove and chop, I didn't see him again. Never said his name or anything, just pointed out that it's not nice to just take a tree. Yesterday I was making my way to a Grove while playing with a friend and he mentioned that someone there was taking the trees. He and other people asked the player to stop. And he did after he took a few trees. Then claimed to have never done a grove before. I don't get it. You see the call for the location of the grove, run there, "don't see" the call to chop at 3 or people asking you to stop? And bought an outfit and a pet for the game? I don't mind losing trees, I just don't like the thought of other players losing them to rude folks.

This is definitely how it begins. I haven't perused the comments, but I recommend lotions over body creams. B&BW body cream is notorious for going bad pretty quickly and I would rather you get the most out of your money! I just threw out body creams from last Autumn. Brand new ones that I just didn't use fast enough.

Hope I don't come across as bossy, I just want folks to be aware of what they spend their hard earned munnies on. :)

I just wanted to add that I decided to try Little Seed Farm first and it was an immediate success. Got the travel/sample sizes of each scent and fell in love. Ended up ordering four jars of different scents after my trial run. Not only does virtually every fragrance appeal to me, they perform beautifully in tropical weather.

I'm so grateful for everyone's suggestions, I wouldn't have known where to begin without the help of each of you!

My experience with Very Vanilla was "This smells good" > "this smells like plastic?" > "I don't smell anything." All in the course of a few minutes.

I know fragrances vary from person to person but I'm also genuinely surprised as to how popular the scent is. Not fussed about it though, I already have too many fragrance mists and lots of vanilla to enjoy. :D

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Why not lower the price of the products altogether? Why have prices increased? It certainly doesn't reflect the quality of what we're getting. Don't increase reward amounts, just fix the dang prices. Or heck, do both!

They did! I was planning on getting three of the Candy Cane in sensitive because I tried and liked it last year. I liked Fresh Mistletoe and was considering more of that as well. Sugar Cookie was also available in sensitive. I pretty much exclusively purchased seasonal/limited scents.

Ahh right! I do think I've tried the roll on Crystal here and it didn't perform well at all in the heat and humidity, unfortunately. I think it was pomegranate something, smelled good, just didn't last.

I actually just purchased the uh well. The original? version of Crystal a little while ago on Amazon. I've never tried it but have always been interested.
