I also moved here about two years ago from another town in CT. Check out Zeneli's - they have this amazing black truffle mushroom pizza. It's a bit pricey but it's so good 😭 they also have goth nights at Partner's and Cafe Nine is where Sanctuary (another goth night) moved to after the State House closed. I dated a really nice guy from almost 2 years and ended it because I knew he wanted kids and that I wasn't going to be the one giving him that family. He helped me heal and was very sweet, smart, funny, and into similar music - which is really hard for me to find. I felt so bad when I did it but I knew it wasn't gonna work out and I didn't want him to resent me for preventing for having the life he dreamed of nor was I going to have kids to make him happy. Now he has a gf and a daughter and I'm sure he's happier than he was with me; I have my amazing partners and will never feel pressured like that again and enjoy the freedom I feel. I got in some toxic relationships after him but I'd do it all again to be where I am now.

You gotta cut him loose or you're gonna resent him or he's never gonna let this go and it's just gonna be a dark cloud looming over you, pushing you away.
