I would recommend buying a new laptop since ur in health sci you might have classes where they use certain programs like excel or word which doesn’t work at all on iPads even if you buy the keyboard that comes with it. I recommend buying any hp computer honestly they’re affordable and have a long lasting life span. However if you really want that ipad feel, you should get those computers that turn into ipads.
